FIRST IN BEST DRESSED Item: R32 Alloy Radiator Location: Browns Plains, Brisbane (Southside) Website: Here and Skylines Australia Item Condition: 7 out of 10. It does not leak at all as it was in my car for a short period before I was told it was for an R32. Reason for Selling: Wrong Radiator as R32 top tank is lower than R33(Not recommended for an R33) and different mounting points Price and Payment Conditions: $180.00 Cost me $225 without postage. I am aware of that (The difference btw turbos) but with the larger rear housing on a stock motor(im assuming no head work, larger throttle etc) the reaction time for full boost would be similar (Hope that is clear as mud). Btw 4 & 5g in second is where I would guess full boost will occur for this turbo on his motor. Its like guessing jelly beans in a jar but I dont mind guessing and then he can tell us when it does and someone will win (yay). Mate put it on and open a new thread with the result.

Rb30 Hybrid Upgrade, All Dyno Results
Imtorqing replied to R31Nismoid's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
R33 with 26/30. HKS cams, standard throttle body, 1000cc Sards, Single 044, Dash 8 fuel lines, surge tank etc, Headwork, Larger exhaust valves, N1 Oil pump, 42R huffer. Made 525rwhp (390rwkw) on 18psi and pump fuel. Having spark problems so will need splitfires or better. -
My guess(Key word) would be boost by the end of high first gear, quick change full boost by about 4000 to 4500rpm maybe even 5000rpm just depends on the motor. My 42R comes on about there but has head work and larger exhaust valves. The guy who bought my 25/30 put another 35/40 with a 1.06(1.04??) rear and Ive been told its laggier. I used to get full boost before 4000rpm in second with the .82 rear so you should be in a similar ball park. If a guess was all you were after, I hope it helps. Cheers Bill

If you can get down to Bannockburn (Behind Beenleigh just a run down the M1) I would Call Steve from Motion Garage 0407672023. He did all the pipe work on both of my cars exhaust and coolers. He was the best priced that I found including the exhausts. Im sure alot of people here have also had him work on their cars and will attest to his workmanship. He does stainless but is a boiler maker by trade so he can weld just about anything. He has done heaps of work on big dollar cars. Cheers Imtorqing

But back on track I do feel for Tommah's situation as I cannot see without seizing the car on the day for mechanical inspection, how they can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that it was a locked diff. Bring your mechanic with you to court to confirm that the same diff is in it and that it hasnt been modified and offer to take the magistrate for a spin to show that it is still making the screech lol.

Hi guy's, Just wondering what is like in the NT. I have the possibility to move up for work but have never been to the NT in my life. How is the cost of living ie Food, Fuel etc. What are the vehicle service, dyno shops etc like as looking at bringing our skylines if we move. Looking for feedback from those that have lived elsewhere and moved up as its a huge move for us. Cheers Bill aka Imtorqing

Jeez that thing is sitting high. It looks about 3 quarters of the turbo is above the rocker covers. I have a photo of my 42R which sits about halfway to my rocker covers and it just fits under the bonnet although I had to grind down part of the knob on the front cover and a 26/30 sits a bit higher. I think you will find judging against mine that it just fits but will sit against the underbonnet heat shielding.

What exhuasts are people running on their RB26's and do you know the decibel levels. I have a 26/30 with a custom 3 1/2 inch exhaust with an Xforce Cannon and it is pretty loud. Looking at a HKS Silent Power exhaust but worried that it might cause a power limit. My cars got Argo and wiseco forged internals so im chasing big hp with my 42R Turbo.......

Haltech Or Profec B Boost Controller?
Imtorqing replied to NYTSKY's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I have a haltech e11v2 and im going the trim controller instead of an AVCR mainly due to cost. I ran it on my VL Turbo and it was great and still going great guns, 21psi no problems. Read the options available on the trim controller and its pretty impressive. If you have a tuner who knows what they are doing it will be great tool to have. -
I hate threads like this.... you have someone who doesnt have an idea trying to interpret a letter, putting his spin on it and asking advice. Its like a blind Epeleptic trying to get his end wet. Youll keep bumping around but have bugger all chance of getting it in. If you want the correct advice scan the letter or write it word for word with your details blocked out so everyone can see and you will get the proper advice. Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 is the act which the police derive all of their powers from, the holy bible if you wish......Includes the powers of arrest and also the seizing of vehicles for type 1 and the new to come(July 2008) type 2 offences....and subsequent forfeitures etc etc.

Dont forget Inala is a suburb on the move too lol. Oh and dont forget Goldcoast North otherwise known as Eagleby. The only thing that doesnt get robbed there is the cemetery but give it time . But thats cool I live in Logan which is so much safer . I have an alarm, security screens and two viscious Chihuahuas. They look friendly to lull you into a false sense of security and then devour you.

How much per hour does APC charge as it doesnt say on the net ?

Guy's, Who is the best tuner for Haltech's in Brisbane/Goldcoast area. My R33 has an R26/30 with a Haltech E11V2. Everyone I speak to know good tuners but um and ah when I mention Haltech as they are generally Motec Tuners. I heard about a year or two ago there is a guy at Bob Romano's who is meant to be a god with Haltechs but cant confirm if he still is there. Cheers Bill(Imtorqing)

Performance wise as in how it operates ? the answer would be no difference unless the plumb back is restrictive. Much like a screamer pipe off of your wastegate being plumbed into your exhaust(Not a screamer pipe if plumbed in lol cuz it doesnt scream), they are in theory for this scenario the same. The only reason for not plumbing them in is People love the sound. My blow off valve is hidden and has a high pressure spring, so it doesnt go off unless im booting it. Thus if im booting it and the police see and hear me then im in trouble anyway but it helps to stay under the radar when driving normally compared to the gay little tweeters that so many tend to love. Hope it helps. P.S I think it has been extensively discussed that a BOV has minimal if any performance advantage.

What do you need to do the sprints. Is it the same as the drags, helmet, long sleeve shirt, long pants and enclosed shoes or do you need a race suit and shoes ? Im pretty keen once I get the car soughted to bring her out for a run.

So you dont have any details on him what so ever ???? When I bought my line I had to complete a transfer of rego plates form with his details on them. I was of the opinion that it was similar to when you transfer car rego. If you physically have them I would attend Qld Transport and due to the fact you bought them over a year ago the chances of you having his details are pretty slim anyway. They usually have a form similar to a stat dec behind the counter that you fill out. That way if an owner comes forward and wants to report the plates stolen they have you over a barrell. Similar to Cash converters have the declaration that the property you are selling/pledging is yours to sell etc. that way when you pawn stolen property it doesnt come back to them. So basically attend Qld Transport with the plates and you should undergo the same process. Atleast attend the front counter and ask them but as mentioned above you should not have any problems and will only have to do the stat dec thing. Cheers Imtorqing

Thanks mate I wish you were in Brisbane so I could sell it to you lol. People must think because you are selling it there is something wrong with it, which is really annoying me. Either that or no one can afford it which in that case I understand. Oh well when the new owner comes (Ive got time as Im not desperate) they will reap the rewards as anyone who tries to build this will find out the hard way how expensive it is(Cost me just shy of 25). Cheers Bill(Imtorqing) -
THE WHOLE CAR IS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
-
Yeh if it doesnt sell, I have a 26/30 in my line and she now wants one. I told her if she gets rid of her EH Wagon I will see if I can buy her one with a stuffed motor and do a transplant hopefully into an auto so she can drive it . She hates driving the VL( Drove it once lol Brass Button) but she would like to stick it some cars around the place. My 26/30 sounds tuff as because you cant hide it with its lumpy idle but the 25/30 sounds tame as until it comes on boost then boom. She doesnt realise how much fun she will have.

Guy's does anyone on here have an r33 that has been complied and registered but the motor is r00ted and they cant afford to fix. Im basically chasing a roller with gearbox(I have a motor to go in ), auto is cool as its for the wife. Chasing one that is clean and straight Cheers Bill(Imtorqing)
