BUMP Come on guy's this motor needs a new home. If in Brisbane come for a drive and you will see the risk free joy that this motor will give its new owner. The beauty of a rebuild without having to go through the five thousand k run in. This motor has barely lived. NOTE I dont rip people off and dont sell garbage. PM or call me to see or arrange for a passenger seat test drive. The only reason I am selling is that I have bought a R33 with a 26/30 and cant keep both(I will be posting pics very soon). There is absolutely nothing wrong with this motor or package. -

All repeat criminals should have this happen. I wish all the best to foamer and hope that she or he can help a percentage but even she/he has to admit that atleast 70 percent are lost causes. I see this everyday and cant help but feel discouraged as Police try to lock these idiots up and the Judges keep letting them out with slaps on the wrist. I am more than happy to see them on their way to hell. I dont see how locking them up is any better. It costs taxpayers around 65 to 70,000 a year to keep each one of these rsholes incarcerated. Bring on Three strikes I say but the third isnt incarceration for life if you know what I mean "COSTS ABOUT 30 CENTS. If that was the case you would notice society for some strange reason recovering and just getting better and better. The criminal justice system is named so because thats who it benifits. IF MY CAR EVER GETS STOLEN I WISH THIS ON THE CAR THIEF ALTHOUGH MY CAR WOULD BE SADLY MISSED BUT I HAVE INSURANCE .

Anyone Fit A Child Seat In Back Of Skyline
Imtorqing replied to Imtorqing's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Cheers Guy's I was starting to stress as believe it or not the wife let me buy it and of course I need a kiddy seat for the bub. She was never a big fan of my VL Turbo anyway(Cuz she didnt like the clutch(She wont be driven the skyline either Twin plate OS GIKEN ). Will post some pics when I get it. -
Hi Guy's, New to owning a Skyline and will be taking delivery by the end of this week coming. My question is has anyone fitted a kiddy seat in the back of one because I had a look and they dont seem to have mounts for it. I am thinking I will have to have a bar with the mount attached fabricated to run between the speaker hole's or something similar. Anyone got a kiddy seat in theirs?????

As stated before the police do not have Skylines etc as undercover cars. They can and only have australian delivered vehicles which are purchased new ie Fords(Falcons, Typhoons, Xr6 Turbos), Commodores(S packs, SS's, Crewmans and those variations), 380's, Aurions, Hilux's, Landcruisers(speed cameras) Wrx's were purchased previously but are no longer around. For the guy who got a speeding ticket from an off duty officer in his own car you should have fought it as they cannot give you a speeding ticket as police vehicles need to ; Have the speedo tested/caliabrated for accuracy every 3 months, Has to be an approved speedo(Some have digital display and gauge display the calabration covers only one of them). They can/could issue tickets whilst off duty for other things but should proceed by way of a traffic breach(Goes to their adjudication and they send out a fine or summons). If you are pulled over by an unmarked police unit just leave your window 90 % up and if they are not wearing full uniform, ask for id. Generally traffic police will wear full uniform but will be in an unmarked car. If you fail to pull over you will be given a $450 ticket or a notice to appear in court depending on how the officer feels. Unless you are a female at 2am in the middle of the sticks good luck trying to talk your way out of not pulling over. AS STATED THE POLICE CARS ARE NEW OR NEWISH AS THEY ARE REPLACED AFTER THEY CLOCK UP 80,O00 K'S OR LESS. IF YOU ARE BEING PULLED OVER BY AN UNMARKED HOLDEN CAMIRA THE CHANCES ARE THAT IT IS NOT A POLICE CAR. USE YOUR RARE SENSE. I say rare sense because it appears common sense is not so common these days.

Guy's Upgrading power and need a Rb25 Box as MX7 will go bang. Brisbane. Cheers Bill aka Imtorqing

As he said "Fog lights = Use only when in fog". For some people it can be hard to understand. Use them whenever you want and when a cop doesnt just drive past like you thought they would, expect a fine . No fog lights(When not in fog) = No fine mmmmmmmkay Foglights are bad mmmmmmkay :laughing-smiley-014:

Mate just take down the details of the guy you are buying from including his home address etc. When you fill in the forms in Qld just take in the receipt and they will get you to sign a declaration stating you are the owner of the vehicle. Then produce u r roady and dosh & bobs u r uncle.

There is an office at Boondal and they do travel all over the state. If you send a letter to them this is what will happen. They will read it, all have a good laugh and send one back to you saying "The ticket will still stand."

You dont need a modification plate for an intercooler as they do not have a code for it on the mod plate currently (The guy who fitted my mod plate placed a code on my modplate for it and noted intercooler on my documentation that I got with the plate). I have spoken to State Traffic Task Force(STTF Qld) who confirmed there is no code for an intercooler. I WOULD FIGHT THIS IF I WAS ISSUED WITH THIS You can cut holes in the engine bay as long as they do not affect the structural integrity of the vehicle when involved in a crash ie CANT CUT INTO THE CHASSIS RAILS also confirmed by STTF. This is the same with placing bonnet vents in your bonnet. YOU CANNOT CUT THROUGH THE BONNET SUPPORT RAILS AS YOU WILL GET DEFECTED. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO YOUR FRONT BUMPERS. YOU CANNOT CUT THROUGH OR INTO ANY SUPPORT FRAME IN YOUR BUMPER TO FIT YOUR COOLER. There is a design standard relating to rear lights. Vehicles after a certain year 1989 I think (Dont quote me on it but I do have the info at work) if fitted with a rear brake light in the rear wing and you remove that wing, you must either fit a wing with a rear brake light or a rear light in the back window which is red in colour. To get around a defect on your car you can deregister the car and get a rwc and reregister it or just sell it. AS STATED THE INTERCOOLER HOLE DEFECT IS GARBAGE ANYWAY. This removes your responsibilities for the defect notice and the vehicle can still be sold. Bear in mind the new owner can be defected for the same item applicable to the previous defect notice. If there is a defect notice attached to the car you cannot sell it to him. I know of one time a guy had a canary (Major Defect Notice) put on his skyline. Sold the skyline to another guy who got pulled up by the same officer who issued the defect. Both the previous and current owner were fined. THE GOOD NEWS IS I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT THEY ARE RE WRITING THE GUIDELINES FOR MODIFICATIONS IN QLD. THE GUY WHO IS WRITING THEM HATES HOONS SO WE CAN ALL GET READY TO BEND OVER. BASICALLY YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CUT OR BEND ANY PART OF YOUR VEHICLE EXTERIOR AND OR ENGINE BAY WHICH WILL AFFECT INTERCOOLER FITTING ETC ETC. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT REGARDLESS IF YOUR MODIFICATION WAS CARRIED OUT BEFORE THESE STANDARDS COME IN IT WILL STILL AFFECT YOU. MORE GOOD NEWS Cheers Imtorqing

The Auto electrics place you are talking about is Woodridge Auto Electrics and is about 50 metres on the left hand side(after Red Devil). One of the guys who works there is Tim. He also does mobile work as well if that suits you Call 0401956102 and ask for Tim. He did a fair amount of work on my car and he is the cheapest auto elecky i have ever met. For workshop I use DJ Sivyer mechanical in Timms Court, Woodridge which is to the left of JHH. They have a subaru sign out the front as they used to do subaru log book servicing. Ask for Daniel 32902967. He put my engine in and did my gearbox conversion. Fitted my new manifold(Which needed modification due to Rb25/30), new turbo, lines and everything. He usually has some hot imports in the driveway. He used to be John Hills(JHH Engineering) apprentice before going into business for himself. I have no complaints and he charges an excellent rate for services. BOTH I USE AND TRUST AND ARE NOT MATES, they are just people I had do work to my car when I needed it. Tell them that Bill with the White Vl Turbo recommended them. If you need an exhaust or intercooler piping I have another guy I know who did excellent work on my car that I can recommend. Call em or dont call them its your choice.

The saddest thing is when you pickup all the parts that broke off it onto the road, They are still worth more than my car lol.

My On-going Dispute With Recent Fines I Received
Imtorqing replied to Mr-Toy33's topic in Queensland
As Toy33 said You should be able to approach a police officer and ask them a question and not worry about getting reamed. Most will assist with any inquiries although they are a mixed bag. If you drove off you would get fined at a bear minimum but more probably get arrested and charged for Obstruct. Cheers Imtorqing
