    when my radiator cracked i got a s13 one put in, but then i've just got a rb20

    you got that right. original alternator died in the the middle of brissie at midnight. threw a 50 buck second hand alternator on. it shat itself a week later, car was stuck down at springwood for a week before i got a autoelec to put on a new one. working okay for 250 bucks (no labour costs)

    1990 Rb20de Auto 2 1/2 inch cat back drivin - depends what mood i'm in. usually fairly easy going not much country driving. i get about 10-10.5 km/L i'd get a manual gearbox, go the rb25 box

    yeah get it serviced, they'll soon tell you if it's buggered or not. mine died around the 200 000 mark

    A mate of mine put LPG into his Patrol, He then towed his Rock Hopper down to Sydney from Ipswich, cost him $300 in Gas, usually around the 600 mark. He also said there was no lose of power.

    Anyone know if there are any compatable alternators available on the local market, for the ceffies. I used a second hand one off a r32 rb20det, worked till it died too.

    no idea about the brakes. but the rear seat. run your fingers around the underside of the seat part, till you get to a clip. and pull up. there is one on each side of the car about a foot inside the door. then you undo the screws that hold the rear of the seat on. hope that's what you mean
