ok im new to skylines. ive been told ive got blow by, bcoz my air pod is full of oil and leaking oil. my air pod is a hks oil based. the previous owner gave me a bottle of oil to clean it but i lost it >.<. he said every 5kms to clean it, nows the time to clean it. sometimes my cars idles been droping, sometimes it will stall, im not sure what is the problem im still working on it. I want to know should my air pod be leaking out oil? ive just recently changed the oil and oil filter. i went autobarn and brought some turbolight oil i think that was what it was called, one of the workers there recommended i use that. i was thinking...... that oil is for turbo cars and my car is a 1999 manual Non Turbo skyline r34, the fact that turbo cars have low compression pistons and my car will have high..... me who put in this turbo oil into my non turbo car.... did i just skew my engine....bcoz my airpod shouldn't be like this or should it...... im thinking of changing my air pod to a normal paper type one to see what happens, but im confessed what if i get oil coming out into that aswell. ive took my car to japcars and run a computer test and everythings running fine, no errors come up. my mates done a computer test manually for me, where u need a paper clip to push 2 things in and ur lights flash up, giving you a code. my car came up with no errors aswell. its weired..... nobody knows the problem ive been firstly it was oil, then spark plugs then something to do with the power circuit to the battery, i disconneted my subs, im running 4 neons and 2 subs in the boot 12inchs. my cars idle was alright wasnt droping nothing, then today when i was driving it was doing it again when i was in first gear with the clutch in. well firstly im guessing it the air pod i need to get this over and done with should i change it or clean it, if i change it do i need to change the part above it like the chip or something? or the change the pod to a new one.

omfg!!!!! i got this problem yesterday, i got a non turbo car too! >.< manual 1999 r34 25gt 84kms. out of no where my car seems like it was gona stall when i revved it abit, i went home, just before my driveway my car stalled.... i started it back up and drove in my house, i popped the bonnet because that shit ain't normal i knew something was wrong.... when i gave it abit of revs its starts making a noise. i was hearing these 'click noise'..... then my car was about to stall sometimes it really did stall. i checked the oil and it was really low, my mate said my oils really low thats why its doing that, making that noise and about to stall. i didn't drive my car until i came back home with a new bottle of high performance oil and a new oil filter. i done that today with 2 of my mates. the noise was still der...... i decided to take my car to a mechanic, on the way der my car stalled like 7 times when i was at a red light, i had the clutch down and i was in gear 1. when i got to the mechanic, he didn't really know what the noise was, and these guys work on skylines everyday. he put my car up to a computer and checked everything. he said the engines fine every things running normal. he thinks its got to do with circuit, for example i put in a different fuel and the car got sensors.. he reseted everything and he said it should be ok, if it continues to stall bring it back in. i took off and was back driving around hoping it wont stall or anymore problems atm its fine, i think the clicking noise might be still there i'll check tomorrow. anyone else with this problem or heard anything like this. i have a question. if a piston was blown how can you find out will it make this noise? or no noise at all just lose power. weird bcoz my car feels like its got the same power but feels differnt bcoz i dont know if it will stall again lol >.< shatted days!

dam wat a mess ...... sorry to hear what happened to your car. its interesting that peoplel saying it will cost 15k to fix.... my best friend crashed his 1996 series 2 supra about 5months. he was speeding reaching 160k then he got cut off while trying to overtake the cars in front he then started to brake, his breaks locked up then he was sliding/skiddig straight into a parked car, hit and chiped the car roughly at 90ks chips the front side, the car he hit was a r31 that jumped into the air and landed onto another car which was parked right in front which was a holden VT 2000model that done about 3gz damage to the boot, the skyline became a ride off he paid out 1g for that because it was a old model. On your r34, it is the exact same damage on my mates car but the supra's damage is the opposite side, his engine is perfect still a baby with 44ks, his front wheel is bent its the axle needs to be fixed see the font engine bay frams they need to be replaced, i think his doing a font half cut or something. My mates done alot of research on fixing his car its been in his garage till now, 5 months untill now finally his found some people that will charge him 5gz and they'll fix his car within 1 week, now his just need to work on getting the 5gz. I attached 2 pictures of the supra and 2 pictures of the 31, i duno where the picture of the damaged boot of the VT went, just image a Holden VT boot with a big dint, my mates got more pictures of his car there the only 2 pictures i got on my computer. P.S. i know this story has got nothing to do with me buying your car, but i thought its worth telling you in case you change your mind to sell your car and keep looking around to fix it, or if someone else buys it they could find people to fix for 5gz just keep looking!!, good luck !!!!
