  1. I would go for a strut bar to stiffen the chassis a little and then go for koni adjustables shocks all round. Finally a wheel alignment to factory specs. This way you can control how hard or soft you run your car daily.
  2. checkout www.whirlpool.net.au and make the comparisions yourself. Moonbutt
  3. play around with a tire calculator. taller tires give a higher speed reading. found one here http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html moonbutt
  4. What I tend to do as a standard to my car is that " If the item and or fliud is unknown best to change it with a known item." This way I am able to control what goes into the car and not to worry anymore. In the case of clutch and brake fliud fresh is best naturally. If the fluid has been sitting around in the garage or in a car for a few years they tend to absorb water leading to corrosion in the lines down the track. MoonButt
  5. Worn clutch or clutch pedal adjustment needed???
  6. Duncan, Having thicker oil usually hides a problem with the gearbox. Moonbutt
  7. mmmm..... the feel of baby oil on your skin while driving a skyline in the nude. LOL!!! cant get any better than that!
  8. my 2 cents. 12 litres in the little MK1 MR2 MoonButt
  9. I believe they use nitrogen in aircraft tires. Prolly because they dont expand like air and the pressure in the tires stays constant. MoonButt
  10. Another place where you wont be able to arm your car alarm is in the car park for the telstra tower in canberra.
  11. I have the same problems with interference with wireless equipment in the chatswood area..... one day I decided to look up before I get in the car. Staring back at me is the big TV broadcasting tower for channel 9!!!! Man!! That tower could keep you toasty warm if you could stand in front of the dishes butt naked! Thats my theory anyways MoonButt
  12. I dont think you should clean platinum plugs. They have a very thin coat of platinum. If you use anything harsh like sandpaper it damage them. Just leave them alone. If your car isnt running well have it checked out. Keep the shiny side up!!!
  13. I would go out and buy an AUTOTASER if I knew where to get one in OZ. By comparision it has better features than the old Club lock. Built in alarm and electric shocks to boot. If there was another way to increase the voltage I would be willing to do it. I would love to go into the garage in the morning and walk over the would be thief writhing on the floor. LOL MoonButt
