  1. What do you mean carlo? Are you saying don't go to Cromer? Someone just suggested it the other day...
  2. Hey guys, Sick and tired of worrying about my front bar each time i go over a bump or up a ramp.... as such I want to get a Front Lip to cover the standard 34 bar. Thanks guys
  3. Hey guys, check this out: http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/fish-o...3125943411.html Hillarious stuff...
  4. Hello all, Ever since the addition of the Skyline, we now have 4 cars under the one roof... as such it is time to sell one of them. V8 VN Commodore Station Wagon Good Condition Metallic Blue Colour A1 mechanically, 5L engine always serviced and runs well Interior is average Exterior has a few small dings here and there Almost clicked 200,000Ks No either what this car is worth, NRMA estimates $7K which to me is a joke... the old man wants $5K and since its his car, we'll just leave it at that. Good for a thrash about, plenty of grunt... or even just for getting your gear to and fro without fear of dinging up your pride and joy.
  5. Is this the colour one with the camera? Good condition means that the case is screwed... everything else is fine yeah? thanks
  6. Auto tiptronic so it's either downshift or brake.... there ain't no other way!
  7. Saw a silver R33 in Dee Why yesterday... waved and flew off Saw a gunmetal R32 at Willoughby, followed by a white R34 in Chatswood Chase carpark...
  8. don't listen to ruckus.... he's trying to turn you to the dark side!
  9. For Free?
  10. This is from experience; riding in my uncles BMW 330ci going 80km in a 60km zone. A copper parked on the side follows him and explains that he was speeding before. My uncle promptly says show me your radar reading - the cop did not have one and could not book my uncle As someone mentioned, its their word against yours if there is no hard evidence. I wouldn't bank on the fact that cops are always that forgetful as to leave their radars off though... Similar rule applies with the "one cop, one pull over" rule.... works espcially well with cruises!
  11. In both the US and AUS systems, one thing that I have gathered is that there is no "rehabilitation" process. It's almost like thinking: "once a criminal always a criminal" I agree with you totally, there should be programs that encourage the opposite attitude instead of letting it go unnoticed so when they get their licence again, they continue doing the same stupid shit!
  12. This is a very interesting thread... I keep my Skyline under a carport at night, but since we have 4 cars at home... I park them all in so the hardest vehicle to get to is the 34. Not only does this make stealing it quite impossible, but those walking up and down my street can't see it as easily. Besides, I don't think they'd bother trying to break into all 3 cars to only steal one. That's a total of 8 security systems to get through in about 3 minutes.
  13. Well from what you guys are saying... would a better option be to drive to a very dense traffic area where they "can't" stop you? You'd be most likely to get away in that sort of a situation~
  14. Please don't point the finger like I'm the bad guy here, I'm just trying to help out and share some thoughts.
  15. they do cover IT issues a lot these days... particularly when it comes to negative stuff.
  16. That's what passwords are for... as a user of the system I would think that the law would assume that you have a "duty" to ensure that all submissions are from you if it is from an account. Furthermore, even though there is no first/last name - they'll have a way. I'm sure hackers don't put their real names down. But again, it is their bragging that gets them in trouble. I'm no expert on the IT laws, but what I'm saying is based on some knowledge, some common sense and some input from the media.
  17. Words spoken are not as binding as words on "paper"... but if you are willing to give your proposal a try, I'd be very interested in the outcome.

    car accident

Not entirely true... back in April 05 I was "bottled" during a lunch break in the middle of the city. Hurt like hell, blood and all - call the cops. Take their sweet ass time to get to my office to take a statement and then say "there's not much we can do now, we'll keep an eye out for the suspect". End result: No contact for 4 months and 3 stitches, and a scar on my ear! This cop should have the following done to him: 1) Go through basic training AGAIN 2) Be suspended on grounds of unfair discrimination 3) Be shot, locked away, put in a home or a combination of all three! I'm sorry to hear about your accident dude, hope it works out all good. The whole story sounds soooo SUSS! Almost as though the cops condoned the whole thing and turned a blind eye. I think you should take this further for sure~ Good Luck
  19. So true ...
  20. I think the only reason they would release a new model is becaause they are 100% sure that it improves on ALL aspects of the previous model. It would make absolutely no sense for Nissan to release a car that doesn't sell because people already have better vehicles. Take a look at Mercedes or BMW, they all boast improved cars each time they do a launch. The 34GTT is valued around the mid 20K to the high 40K mark *based on min and max figures* so shop around and you'll find something decent,
  21. Have a friend who worked in a Holden workshop where most of the cops on the Northern Beaches have their cars "done"... Basically the cars are stock standard; there is nothing special done to them barr the lights, stickers, some reinforcement here and there and maybe the chip. She said the chip was only at request and most did not have them. NSW COP CARS OF INTEREST: Smart Roadster Smart Car WRX (blue and white) Cooper S Armoured 4WD looking thing with PHAT TIRES!!!
  22. Just on the persecution comment... that is not entirely true. All forms of publications be it physical or on the internet are legally binding. Electronic forms of communication such as email, blogs and forum posts all fall into this category. They are just like you putting pen to paper... it is written with your knowledge, and furthermore, it is signed. Just because it is written under an alias or "screen name" doesn't mean they can't point the finger at you. If enough people know you by your screen name... it's as good as your birth name. I would think twice before posting anything that's illegal...
