  1. Thanks a bunch shanef! Final question; promise... what is the more popular way of running the new timing belt? Re-using the tensioner on the RB30 or tapping a new one into that flat machined surface? I've seen a few hybrid setups now and they differ in this a lot - seems that some think it's OK to re-use the old position whilst others don't. I mean; on the RB25s and 26s i've seen; the belts come fairly close anyway - the only difference on the 30 is that the belt comes a few mm closer (but at tension I don't see this being a problem).
  2. Photos have been added to the first post with Matt's permission from the GTR Shop in NZ
  3. I've read the PDF about 10 times so far just to get a good understanding of the general conversion. I stress "general" as the PDF does not go into details. I've read well over 3/4 of this thread too (very draining but informative) but I still have these questions: 1) How much of the "extra" bits n bobs do you transfer over to the RB30? (Alternator, P/S Pump, thing behind oil filter, hoses brackets etc) 2) Does the RB30 block have the same mounting holes for all these brackets (in roughly the same places) ? 3) The stands which go onto the engine mounts - did people re-use the RB30 ones of the ones from their original motor? 4) When blanking off the rear oil gallery (instead of putting in restrictor); where does one get the part to block this up or is it simply weld n smooth? Thanks guys! S
  4. Just received the following in the mail: 1 x Crank Collar 1 x Grub Screw (black) 1 x 1.50mm Restrictor 1 x 1.25mm Restrictor I'm not an engine parts expert but they look to be in good form; the machining is pretty good (no rough edges; no barbs etc etc.) I'll take some photos tonight and post them up Oh BTW; the reason why there is a 1.5 and a 1.25mm restrictor in there is because it comes with 2 and I didn't know what I needed / wanted so I just took the two most common ones
  5. BUMP! Come on guys... it's got to go!
  6. Sorry mate; they're on hold until I get my plans sorted out - dunno if I want to sell them.
  7. Hi all, I have up for sale my old Split Front / Dump Pipe in Stainless Steel. It has been taken off my car as the stock item will be re-used. The pipe was originally sourced from Hi-Tech Mufflers in Sydney (one of their first R34 items). This is a good upgrade for those who want better response / turbo pickup - a gain of 15-20rwkw can be had from this pipe alone. It is in good nick and has no cracks / leaks. It will bolt on without any modifications to your existing setup bar removal of the standard dump / front pipe. Unfortunately it does not come with the O2 sensor; you'll have to take your old one and transfer it across. Price is $250 which is an absolute bargain compared to what I paid for it. Pickup is preferred as it's quite hefty but if it's demanded; I can organize freight at buyers expense. Contact: PM or stan [at] 2evolve.com.au
  8. Which heat shields you after? I still have the original ones that go over the turbo and the dump pipe (both are polished) $50 + freight?
  9. Hopefully the next round will complete the delivery run... There would've been more of a complete run but unfortunately there were two units that I found completely unacceptable FYI; Please note that these units that you are receiving are fresh out of a mould and will 1) still be covered in a lot of loose particles, 2) look a little dull. I've been speaking to Matt Phillips about this (Mavric) and he has reccomended that a simple wipe down will get rid of all of this. I would've done it myself but I simply do not have the time at the moment. Thanks Stan
  10. Humz; Matt from the GTR Shop has advised that this is a JUN spec knock-off - the materials and dimensions are exactly the same (what I've been told anyway) I'm STILL yet to receive mine but will post up photos as soon as I do.

  12. Blue injectors are standard on the R34GTT - you should inform them of this. I managed to pull 210rwkw before they maxed out; others have managed to pull more from them. Regardless; if you're chasing big power then you need bigger. Nonetheless; these ones are NOT for sale anymore.
  13. Pics?
  14. This one wins hands down! Joe you have balls the size of Jupiter!!!
  15. I think you'll find that tuning comes at a cost of $100-$150 an hour... My last 3 tunes have taken a minimum of 8 hours - and yes I was there watching the whole time As URAS said; it's experience and quality - not the time.
  16. Some rather weird injector numbers floating around these days... who the hell makes 525cc injectors for the NEO; or are they high-flowed from someone like Deutschworks?
  17. Beat me to it - cheers bud!
  18. Morning all; The little helpers at Stan's post office (a.k.a. Mrs Satanic) was hard at work last night and packaged up the remaining sills... Today's deliver schedule includes: R33_Phreak Mavric 2 Returns to Supplier for Replacement
