I think it may be a good idea for traders/buyers to "register" details before any money is transacted. I know that whenever I sell stuff of "considerable value" I am providing all my details before the buyer even asks.
Never fear; if you break the sensor - I have a spare
Nah you'll be right; provided the car is stock (air box I mean)
1) Get rid of the air box assembly
2) Remove NEO6 Engine Cover
3) Remove Hoses + Clamps
4) Loosen up and remove the BOV Pipe
5) (optional) Remove throttle body
6) Remove Coil Cover
7) Remove Coil Packs
8) Remove Spark Plugs
You do not need to remove the strut brace; there is more than enough room under it to work with.
The throttle body does not neccessarily need to be removed; you can work around it (might spend some time doing so though).
NB: There is one allen bolt under the throttle body that will be very hard to get out if you don't take the throttle body off (it's under the TCS motor). I got around it with a pair of grips onto the allen key piece instead of using a ratchet.
IMPORTANT: use a magnetic tray or something for your bolts and make sure you double check if anything falls into the spark plug wells. I know of one person who blew his motor because he didn't check it (poor guy)
Good luck!
Was that $3k including the turbos and manifolds or just for the manifolds and adaptors?
If it's $3k for a twin turbo setup then why not Not saying I'll do it; but surely there must be benefits in having two turbos over one.
Posting this up for a mate; but I'm after a R32GTST Door assembly; with or without any of the window switches etc etc... must be in good nick.
I'm also after the passenger side rear quarter panel/s - not sure how successful this is going to be but hey; I'll post it up anyways.
Thanks in advance - mate has cash ready and waiting so hit me with what you got!
Stan
Hmm by 2nd intake pipe I thought you were all talking about having 2 air filters instead of the one... kinda like a wishbone setup with two pods instead of one.
Have you seen what the OEM xenons look like? They're a lot less "harsh" than HID Kits... it's very bright; but in a way which is non-intrusive. Dunno how they did it but my bet would be in the actual headlight assembly.
He's coming over tonight
Trying to find a photo of it; but basically any aftermarket shifter for an automatic will work. The stock one is "press button from the right", MY Nismo one now works with "button from the top"
I've seen an ad or two from companies claiming that they have R34 plenums made up and ready to roll - but on closer inspection they are also advertised as R33 plenums too. From my understanding the NEO plenum is different.
I do have a prototype photo of the R34 plenum in R&D (cannot post up for obvious reasons); it shouldn't be too far off now and it'll come from quite a famous fabricator.
I'm going to have to disagree this time; I've been to the aforementioned place on a few seperate occasions now and have received nothing but great service; the boss came out to greet us; offered us all different combinations of tyres etc and went as low as he could on the pricing.
Staff were a bit roudy; but hey you'd be too if you worked there every day. In light of this; they still had the courtesy to package up my old rims and make sure it didn't damage/dirty anything when placed back in my car.
I guess it's different for everyone; but that's just my 2c
^^^ he is the real ass - don't listen to him; just look at his nickname "abo bob" sif believe someone with a name like that
Bob; let's take this outside - you and me!!!
I say otherwise; DO IT
Change the head gasket; change the valve springs; camshafts; valves... replace head studs; do the port and polish and end up with a race-prepped head!
Sure you might live in a cardboard box after; but you know it ain't stock no more!!!
