  1. Yeah; it can handle it
  2. Not to mention completely chopping and modifying your FMIC pipe - is there seriously that much benefit to justify the gains? I've heard varied stories about plenums - some say they're great power-getters; others say it's all for show.
  3. You'd be surprised with high flow turbos... I've seen the stock wastegate actuator leak boost at high RPM because it was going way over it's operating efficiency (?!?) If you are looking to get a actuator for the Nissan turbos; go the HKS Adjustable Actuator. Not very expensive and definitely worth your money over a stock item.
  4. If you're in Sydney and have money coming out of your ears; go the HKS F-CON V PRO - works a charm!
  5. I've got Burnout Legends, some monkey game, and some golf game... Burnout Legends is awesome; I love the graphics and gameplay in it and quite honestly; who doesn't like some destruction? Monkey Game - errr yeah Golf; big head, tiny body; + golf clubs = fun!
  6. Hmm; plennum for the R34 ehh? This would be the first one for the R34 on the market then.
  7. But you're still going somewhere... Why not just jump into the car; and just hold the revs down 0kms, 65L Cool my car uses infinite L of fuel to go nowhere
  8. It's only the "cat-back" that is different; the front and dump + cat is the same i think~
  9. Wouldn't go near it... sorry! Fuel is not that expensive at the moment; staying relatively stable when you think about it. Meh; if you think 98RON from BP, Shell or Caltex is bad - try getting your fuel from ELF (113RON) The race team opposite us purchased 105L for $1,100.00
  10. If you unplug your fuel lines your car ain't running Technically you're not "driving" so you don't win sorry Yeah 250kms; most of that tank was spent going nowhere; just revving the engine trying out some new stuff we did. With that in mind; you could leave your car idling for a day and you get 0kms out of a tank!
  11. Haha; let's play "who has the worst fuel economy"
  12. LOL; my last tank of fuel went for 250kms or thereabours
  13. And yes the RB25DET on the R33s have a metal cam cover.
  14. That's an awesome job... I agree; the intake plenum does take a very long time to do! Hardest part is getting into the nooks n crannys. I'm trying to find a spare throttle body and intake plenum to polish up; I could most probably finish the throttle body in a few hours but the plenum would take much longer - don't really want to have the car apart for ages.
  15. Please explain how most of the cost is in the resonator? Take a look at the Apexi units or the Blitz units; I don't believe they have big resonators like the Trust one does.
  16. There are reasons for doing it though; not all for the sound... 1) The resonator (in my case) was hitting the uni-joint (???) after the split front/dump installation so it had to be removed to stop the contact. 2) The resonator on the PE2 is not straight; if you look at the entry and exit; it's actually off-centre. This can restrict flow... replacing it with a straight pipe will solve this.
  17. Not much louder at idle; but give it some juice and the difference is massive... I'd say somwhere between 10-20db difference at least.
  18. Lovely exhaust... got one on my 34 You want it to sound even better? Get them to cut out the centre muffler (resonator) from the PE2 and replace it with 3" straight pipe... done that to a few cars now (all with PE2s) and they absolutely roar after!
  19. $1400 for a set of TEIN HAs on the forum - I've got a set; given I paid $500 for my set brand new though Definitely one of the best coilover systems around!
  20. Excellent... I'm so in for this one!
  21. 1) Save up more and get some coilovers / bilsteins (both available on here for cheap) 2) Don't like noise; don't get an exhaust system... simple!
  22. Dude; the cheapest and best way of getting a car spot in the city is to rent one!!! I've seen them for as low as $40 a week (full lockup security)... shop around, you'd be surprised how many people in an apartment block don't own cars.
  23. Got a few enquiries about the pipe... mostly asking if I'd be able to do another one. Answer is Yes since I have one lying around; but I'd do it only as a "swap n go" arrangement - I'd like to keep a pipe available as Abo Bob also owns half of it So PM me if you want it done - R34GTT only!
  24. Yeah, that list has changed a little too - haven't had time to upload or write up the new stuff. Reason because I still get the same mileage (which I think is pretty bad I might add) is because of the computer. I'm using the HKS F-CON V PRO and my AFRs are 12:1 throughout the entire rev range... Boost is currently set at stock as we're doing more upgrades to it before winding it up. I'll post back in a few weeks time and tell you how the new setup + tune goes on fuel
