Hey everyone, after years of building and rebuilding my gtr I thought I would finally start a build thread as its currently under another transformation with bc automotive for world time attack open class in October. I've read and followed many threads over the years and thought I'd contribute something back as I have always enjoyed other people's build journeys. So I'll start with a couple photos of photos in its early days as I didn't have any clearer shots on file.

can't find anything to verify sm motorsport r32, any vids? natsoft? do you know what date?

thanks john, are you going to winton time attack? And since you are king at quick lap times on r specs what would you recommend as im used to slicks

bc automotive livery complete, all ready for testing at phillip island the 6th march, all goes well then we will enter winton time attack.

If car performs well at phillip island testing this 6 march, then we will be entering the bc automotive gtr, we may not have the aero completed in time but should be fine as is. Any recommendations to best r spec tyres?

Thanks Arab, no build thread. But something is in the pipeline as to the detail/build/lap times etc shortly. It's still a working progress. Check out hp imports mag shortly

It is gun metal with little more white pearl thrown in from memory. it's slightly lighter than original colour. It will look different next week when the team livery is applied. Just looking forward to driving and getting some practice behind the wheel.

Bc automotive gtr32, back to phillip island for some testing.

Mr datto nailed it... "Unlimited" class is awesome. Have done some piarc days and 4 point cages are allowed with slicks and no side intrusion as the doors already come with this in place as a registered vehicle. Not 100% on the written regards to cage but seen cars running this set up and pass scrutineering every time.

Ill be in if there is enough interested parties. Slicks are fantastic compared to r specs, everything is better whilst driving on them except in the rain. It is the best bang for buck mod you can ever do, and you can get heaps more track days out of a set compared to your r specs so your saving $$$. How bout spicing things up a little also, with fastest timed lap winner at each track at the end of the year?? On another note, John can you get bigger trophies for next years presentation as we could hardly see them...just saying cause I didn't get one.

ok found it, miles tauber r35 1.35.5966 natsoft results. this officially makes him the fastest gtr ever at the island.

thanks guys for confirming adam newtons time, can you please help with locating the r35 135.596. what date? what name is the driver? where do i locate to confirm that time as im still trying to find it? thanks

have you heard anyone to have had a quicker time than this at phillip island joe?

fastest lap i can find from big red is 1.40.35, so paul's 1.39.5 is the fastest gtr lap time at the phillip island ever in a skyline, unless someone can please verify if i'm incorrect.

thats fantastic, so 1.39....seriously quick. so paul's and big red have to be the fastest skylines at phillip isand on record. im still trying to find big red footage to validate this time though. have you a link to big reds footage or times Richo? cheers

Hey guys, just checked natsoft for this day, who's car is doing the 1.39 lap times at phillip island on the 2/2/13??? Is this a new club record and what class is this car running??? is this time attack car or something?

thanks for that, there's got to be faster times than that. The fastest lap I can find is pauly's gtr32 with a best of 1.39.7 still looking, if anyone knows feel free to post please
