  1. yup boost will do you for now.... make sure it reads accurately too... another gauge would be a oil pressure gauge, when your factory one starts to play up (mine did).
  2. wheres the transfer case in that pic? it looks like a full time 4WD setup to me??
  3. thats a bad idea! leaves you open for them to dictate the speed and possibly them slamming their brakes and making you at fault.... i'd rather your laser suggestion... but i don't have one either.. hehe
  4. if someone tailgates me for no reason or they're in the wrong, expect me to slow down to 40, then 20.... and everytime you try to overtake, i wont let you! haha especially taxi drivers...
  5. another vote for go karts! but you gotta wet the track!!!
  6. hoes....hehe i thought you were talking about farming equipment!
  7. thats nice... i reckon mesh should only come in black paint your inter in black too... i can still see it peeking
  8. uh-oh.... i still got mesh on my front bar...
  9. buy the fridgemaster, take it apart and bolt it onto the intercooler.... yeah.... hehehe
  10. Burgers Burritos Nachos Tacos the one in fitzroy st. st kilda is nice... parking may be a beeeyatch tho.
  11. nothing special with that car... just a r32 with a different front bar and rims... unless he's got some engine mods then its tuff... and then we should be looking at pics of the enigne mods yeah looks like mesh from here too.... i reckon paint it black or get rid of it.. intercooler showing thru looks better...
  12. my 2c. filled up full 2 days b4 the vic cruise at albert park pits. about 55 - 60L. got 480k's out of it before i filled up. my best record yet. and that was full of twisties, traffic light drags and top speed runs too. so it wasnt completely granny driving...
  13. gtr's -> r32's and r34's are BNR while r33's were BCNR for some reason.... is this true? whats with the c? ? ?
  14. your tuner is right. one of the wires either connects to the rpm or the injector duty wire from the ecu. connecting the wire to monitor injector duty was just that, monitor only. but if you connect the wire to the rpm, you can also use the other features such as gear based boost or different boost levels according to revs, as well as monitor revs. mines connected to monitor revs but i dont use gear learning, gear spcific boost, etc. the part where you can adjust duty cycle is nothing to do with the reading of injector duty cycle. eg/ mines set to 1bar with a duty cycle of 50%. at full throttle, this keeps me at about 1.00bar with small spikes no more than 1.05bar. putting duty cycle to 48-49% only gets me boosting a max of 0.95bar.
  15. anywhere is good... and yeah, beach stops are always popular...
  16. heh....my co-pilot had a digicam.. empty memcard.... 2 set of batteries... 2 measly shots.... both blurry.. lol
  17. T/C slows you down! (from what i've read anyhoo). good run tho... what happenend to the supra next to me? i think he bailed early...
  18. we should have a computer meet or something so we can swap footage, etc. heh.. and the red ford au or xr? when we took that wrong turn... nice u-turn hehehe. you held it in a very jap-spec way also props to skyline33 and mznismo for the organising and such.

  20. im not sure if he's on the forums... had a chat to him once... seems like a cool guy. car goes pretty hard too.
  21. z145a any will do... ryco, original nissan, valvoline. i found that you change oil too frequently before oil filters become a problem so yeah... where you say? get an oil filter from albury autobarn... guaranteed 100+kw at wheels (even the steering wheel!)
  22. i dunno *shrugs*.... what you think i am some skyline driver i guess all coolants work the same? maybe ones with well known brands? etc...... as for all the oils, just match viscosities and oil types and your sweet i guess. for brake fluid i got the motul dot 5.1 from racebrakes. half litre for $20 i think... original dot rating is 3. g/box oil i used castrol vmx-80 rear diff original is 80w-90 power steering i used castrol transmax Z thats the stuff i used... i thought i was gonna do the gearbox and diffs, etc myself... got under the car... freaking no way... too hard... got my dad's mate/mechanic to do it.
  23. gearbox, rear diff, power steering, radiator and brake fluid if you can. so you have peace of mind that youve done it already.
  24. me around the snalbans area i see a lot of 32's and 33's around my way too. there's a white 33 with rims and plate that starts with RW.... i know the rest but i wont post it for obvious reasons.... anyone with that skyline here? also another 32 with 17" chromies i always see with red calipers... and the 32 with the big tommy kiara sticker down the side...
  25. ahh thats right *slaps forehead* .... see, we really need a day meet...
