after seeing it being done its pretty easy.... wiring is too easy. for the solenoid, 1 goes to the actuator on your tarbin and the other goes to the pressure line... in my case, the pressure line was tapped into one of the carbon cannister lines. when you get it going, make sure you set the duty cycle at aboot 40% so you dont boost to 2bar or something....unless your tarbin can handle it....
  3. chains?!?!? you got the benefit of 4WD
  4. just a suggestion but why dont you just do it properly? ie buy a proper piggyback module to get rid of the limiter? cutting wires, etc will only cause a malfunctioning ecu. a malfunctioning ecu on a car thats going flat out will only cause trouble right??!?!
  5. if that celica is from sunshine, then i live too close to sunshine in short, yes i live aboot 10 mins from sunshine... i would laugh less if that 'bodykit' was the same colour as the car... oh well.... bring on the happiness...

  18. i suggest you get the car up to speed then body mods... more fun that way
  19. ooooh! where you get em? i want an R32 for some reason
  20. mods are almost similar... the only differences is that i dont have front pipes and cat to suit, i'm running 2 psi more and i had a new clutch in there for about 2 months. my tyres could play a part, they're only cheapie $120 tyres all round. tuning could play a part too. i got it setup more for top end than torque. maybe i need to find more torque. my 660ft was 8.156 @ 85.87mph so i'm slower there already. maybe tuning i guess.... launching at 7grand for me i found that it was way better... whatever you do, don't launch at 3 grand... lol
  21. damn i'm jealous! 12.3!!! congrats. what kind of tyres you got at what pressure and what what were your take offs like? (rpm, dump, slip, etc). all i could manage on my run was a terminal of 107mph as well at 12.7 what were your 60 foot times? mine were about the 1.8sec mark.
  22. when i mean by jap spec s15 i mean "not australian delivered"... i can't choose because all cars are good to me! he doesn't like R32 R's tho... he says they're too old.... bah!
  23. okay... my mayte has finally sold his rice car and is now in the market for a jap car. which one to choose? - S15 - R33 GT-R - R34 GTT all of course with some simple mods... probably more, depending on luck. being a skyline forum, it could get a little biased
  24. an accident is an accident... make her pay... make it her problem... not yours. PS - most words in the english language end in an S, not a Z.
  25. heh i most seriously cant clutch! if it was 3+ days later i guess i could manage... my doctorb sez i shouldn't put any pressure on it. if i had a dog box i would..hehe i sustained my injury by being a bit too ambitious with a breakdancing maneouvre.... the electric boogaloo...
