  1. 2530's are rated to 320hp yeah? Its never ending this argument results will vary hugely depending on supporting mods.. An head with valves, well spec cams and porting is always going to make more power than a stock port wrong spec cam'd head.. Nothing is created equal with enough time and money anything is possible..
  2. POST FROM SUPRA FORUMS SOUND PERFORMANCE TESTING THE NEW 6266. Craig's Supra: Precision 6266 CEA Billet .81 A/R 3.4L Stroker with 9.5:1 CR Kelford 274 cams Port/Polished Head Hypertune Intake Manifold 843whp 844wtq 29psi 300wtq @ 3000rpm Peak Torque @ 4800rpm Peak Power @ 5300rpm Steady Power through 7800rpm redline! *Note: This is NOT the final number!! Wait until I get a video up, it's ridiculous how fast this things rips through the dyno.
  3. I used the standard feed & return fittings on the cap of a 33gtr as feeds for twin intanks nismo's then added a speedflow bulk head fitting for the return.. I also added some posts through the lid for 2 extra cables to feed the second pump.. I don't circuit race with a empty tank so replacing the noisy smelly space consuming twin 044 surge tank in boot setup was the best mod I did.. We had to assemble the pumps together through the opening which was a bit difficult but possible..
  4. I agree rolls it's a bit of unusual statement to make in that context.. Maybe they have done back to back testing of the exhaust wheels and found for a given boost pressure the back pressure is much lower and spools much faster.. Who knows..

If these cars teach you anything, it's patience.... Every 6766 should have the anti surge cover!! The turbine wheel is too damn efficient. Put a back pressure guage on it and you will see. THIS IS A POST FROM THE SUPRA FORUM BY SOUND PERFORMANCE WHO HAS TESTED A FEW ON SUPRA'S..
  6. Sorry no expert or first hand experience here yet but when i purchased my 6765 i researched it and found some of the 2J crowd complained about surge so i got it just to be safe if i went 3.2/4+litres from the 2.6L...
  7. On a big capacity good spooling engine you'll need the ported front cover to avoid surge but Rb's are known to spool slowly so you should ok without it...
  8. All good man just having a friendly dig.. Back on topic...
  9. Very detailed post mike looks suspiciously like something dirtgarage would have posted back in the day....
  10. Its not actually a flex sensor by the looks its just a signal generator that tells the ecu its constantly running regular unleaded... The signal may be tweaked slightly to compensate for the 15% E mentioned.. Id assume the ecu would go into limp mode when the factory sensor shits itself to save people money this is an option especially if your not running high % ethanol mixes..
  11. Surely It would be close 35GTR's are not exactly light... The 10 has gone 163 and 12 169mph.. From the youtube videos of the 12 your going to need huge aero to keep this thing planted there having enough trouble driving it in a straight line let alone around a circuit.....
  12. Dont forget to grab yourself vipec aswell its got special feature to keep the ceramic wheels from exploding.....
  13. Can you confirm it was on the same engine/head setup just different cams?? He had the GTRS's on his near stock engine aswell. From memory it was a complete new engine just the same GTRS turbo setup that gained the power and response.. I remember reading a classic post of his on GTRUK forum when someone was comparing garrett to his beloved HKS turbos he came in and said well go try making X amount of power on your GT4202 as i did on my $4000+T51R SPL forgetting he already told everyone his turbo had a GT45 wheel upgrade.. Apples to oranges...
  14. Do you have actual results to back that up?
  15. Gtrs making 550awkw 737awhp I'm sure that number keeps growing??
  16. Did you purchase the injectors from injector dynamics or someone local? If you bought genuine ones they would've come with the clips to hold the adaptor to the injector... Does your silver adaptors have a filter in the top.. If bought locally with non genuine adaptors there more than likely Bosch 2000's not ID2000...
  17. Who built the manifold? Which GT42 is it? GT4294 4202 What A.R ratio? Pics?
  18. Sorry trent no idea on those question.
  19. Do you have any problems getting 14?:1 at idle? Im not sure if its a Cobb (35GTR) issue but a few guys have complained about getting good mixtures on normal 98 with the 2000's?
