  1. I went down the dual 044 surge tank in the boot path i hated ever minute of it. Ever since installing the intanks iv been so much happier no smells, noise, lines, $$ ect My setups pretty basic - PowerFC Z32's ID1600 2530's built 2.6.. Hoping for 450awkw+ on the next tune using ELF E85... Congratulations on fantastic outcome your really in good hands with trent at the keyboard so it seems..
  2. With the -5's making a crap load more power at 2500-4000 region your GTRS tune might not have had enough fuel in those areas and caused a problem.. I hope its a simple fix mate... With all the surge issues with 71mm front wheel and the fact iv got exhaust back pressure problems with the standard hks 2530 i doubt an even bigger compressor wheel is really beneficial... Hope your dyno session goes smoothly Ian everyones dying to see some numbers. Good luck
  3. Nice results dan. So you made 387kw on the 56% ethanol? Did trent or racepace comment on how much the single nismo should make on e85? Im doing a e85 tune next week and have 2 nismo's intank just hoping iv got enough fuel supply...

  7. Shifting through each gear to come to a stop would be a bit painful but 700wkw would make it ok... Have fun finding a turbo busa's on the street probably the only thing worth racing now...

  9. 67mm compressor inducer. I have a 6765 in the forsale section atm although its a T4 version so not much good in this situation.. From my research this turbo will be a far bit lazier than a 35R it will be comparable to a t04z and make GT4294 power.. If mine doesnt sell shortly ill have some results to post up in the next month or so. Will be able to compare my old twin hks 2530's setup on a built 2.6 to 6765 .81 6boost T4 open manifold..

  11. What system is adequate if the belt comes off at high rpm to stop the motor from damaging?? Is a low oil pressure engine cut out in the ECU enough to save you if the pump stops dead at 9000rpm? With a full cut out you still need to disconnect the engine from the transmission to stop it turning..... then you start praying you got to it quick enough i guess..

  14. VP109 on that run. Didn't really see much difference from 109 to toluene powerwise though.

  17. Is that pull done in 3rd gear? What is your rev limit set to? Afrs look good no unnessarry fuel used there.. I'm on sard 800's aswell made 450awkw rev limit 8600 power just starting to nose over at 8.4 on 98/toluene mix. My Afrs are a bit rich at 11.0 though. Engine efficiency would play role aswell..
  18. Really need to know where the power is made. If he makes 400kw at 9000 rpm his going need more injector than a car that makes 400kw at 7000 and falls away to 380 by 8000...
  19. I had a bad experience with the bosch 2000's one injector flowed 7-8% more at idle and fouled the plug real bad.. Im guessing injector dynamics found the same problem and is probably why they push the flow matched sets that you pay a premium for..

  22. Track update: PB 10.66 134MPH 1.73 60ft Axle tramp finally in check - next time out warm rear tires. 2 runs only one with a bad bog and the second bad wheel spin then got booted... Ran on mickey thompson 275 17" drag radials Pump/tolulene tune up around 600RWHP lowish boost (26psi) Getting there slowly..
  23. I made 520rwhp on a single standard line with one intank then upgraded to dual intanks and used 2 standard lines as feeds then a -6 as return seems to work ok so far..
  24. Thats interesting we had problems with my first block i split number 2 bore went to install a sleeve and found it was only mm thick half way down the cylinder. After seeing that we decided to bin the block for a brand N1.
