Hey people, I'm in need of a few bits for my R34 4 Door & am not having much luck finding them... So I thought I'd stick a thread here & see how I go... I'm after the standard looking skirts & rear pods, front lip too... I know the front lip can be replaced with several other makes/models or also fashioned out of various gardening accessories etc I'd love to see & hear what people have done in this area... Does anyone know who does 4 door roof spoilers? preferably in Carbon? & potentially carbon boot lids? If anyone has a left hand tail light, or even just the clear indicator lens from one I need that too... So to recap, the list is: 4 Door skirts 4 Door rear pods Front lip 4 Door Roof spoiler L/H Tail light (or just the clear indicator lens only) Other carbon bits like Boot lids & bonnets Post away people, spread the 34 Sedan luv <3

I'm 90% sure those rear shocks aren't 34 man... 34 are the fork style bottom rather than the eyelet style. -
Diy - V35 Door Lock Actuator / Power Window Removal
Deli Rep replied to rs73's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
The window dropping to a halfway point is due to the brushes being f**ked more than anything I think mate, mine was doing it when the brushes were knackered... I'd have to hold the window 'up switch' at the same time as physically pulling the window up to get it up, then I'd shut the car off & as soon as I'd shut the door it'd do it's little self seal thing, freak out & drop to half way... Hasn't done it since replacing brushes. My opinion would also be that whatever you did with the brushes when you pulled the motor out hasn't worked. The reason these all have this problem is cos for whatever reason the brushes actually wear right out, adjusting or whatever you did won't fix it... The carbon that they're made of is physically worn away & fails to contact most of the time which causes the failure of the window operation. They need to be replaced, anything else will be a very short term 'lucky fix' if at all. -
Diy - V35 Door Lock Actuator / Power Window Removal
Deli Rep replied to rs73's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Well we did it to the drivers side in my V35 which had windows that were 95% dead & it's now working perfectly... The fact is, it's the motors that shit themselves yes, but, the actual part of the motor that goes is the brushes... That is something that with a few moderate level mechanical skills, a soldering iron, & the guts to get in & have a crack, pretty much anyone can replace themselves. No doubt there'd be brushes that you could buy straight off the shelf for something like RC car motors or something similar that'd probably be a direct fit replacement for the window motor brushes but we never got around to taking them somewhere (like Jaycar) to match up. If you did that however it'd make this job even easier again... But failing that, we did find that the brushes out of a standard Nissan R33 (I think) fuel pump required minimal tweaking to fit & do the job perfectly. Now a stock Nissan fuel pump is the sort of thing most people pretty much throw away when upgrading so you should be able to get one for basically nothing, & if so, then this fix can cost you almost literally NOTHING! So, although it is much easier to just pay someone anywhere from $1k upwards to supply & fit new motors to your power windows, if you're not heaps keen to spend that kind of mulah on anything other than upgrades then this might be the answer for you I did take a few progress pics along the way but am not sure that they'd quite suffice for an actual DIY so it may have to wait til we do the passenger door in the next few days & I'll try get pics then... Also, I'm pretty sure that in most of these threads regarding this topic people are claiming around 4 hrs to do the job, (I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's what I saw).... I personally can't see how it took that long, if it weren't for the fact we were actually experimenting with what would work, trial & error 3 different sets of brushes etc, then I think it could've been done between 1 & 2 hrs as the actual trim itself is about 34 seconds work, the cover-plate is about 3 mins, another 72 seconds for the window & you're pretty much all apart ready to start goin MacGyver on it's arse! -
Diy - V35 Door Lock Actuator / Power Window Removal
Deli Rep replied to rs73's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
For anyone who wants to save themselves a reasonable chunk of johnny cash, has a V35 or 350Z with window issues, & has a moderate hands-on skill set & a few basic tools, I replaced the brushes in the window motor of my V35 on the weekend in just a couple hrs & at the cost of an old second hand nissan fuel pump. So if you want any more info on how to save approx $500 per door, just ask, cos I did & it works a treat -
Diy - V35 Door Lock Actuator / Power Window Removal
Deli Rep replied to rs73's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Ok people, I'm having these same window & central locking issues with my coupe, the window problem is definitely far more of an issue as they have a complete mind of their own these days, but as stated here in this thread it makes sense to just replace all of it at same time & be done with it, so... Who has found the best source of the parts for this? Is there stuff from the US? is there anyone or anywhere anyone can suggest to get the stuff cheap as possible so we can go back to spending our money on modding & upgrading instead lol... Cheers -
So this now makes it 2 things/parts that are 100% unique or 1 off (custom 34 headlights & VSXX), & 1 part that there is only 1 other of in the whole country!!! This stuff has to be somewhere...

More to add to the list of stolen goods... I know it seems odd to only realise now, but a set of rims were also taken that night... Yet again, a VERY unique set that are like no others... Didn't realise they were gone until looking for them tonight to show to a potential buyer, but yes, they were in the garage too... Work VSXX black centre with polished dish... 18" x 9" front & 19" x 10" rears, high offset & have been drilled to suit 5 x 114 as they were originally another stud pattern... will upload pic as long as it lets me.

A dog is definitely an option. but hard when you're renting... Parts stolen from the Crafers/Stirling/Upper Sturt area so not exactly the kinda thing that happens around here... Obviously someone who knew already or has been here before... There are 1 or 2 suspects at the top of my list who have bought parts off me, who I don't know otherwise but who have been here to pick stuff up... Logically it makes the most sense to be someone like this... So just need to start sniffing around... Pretty spewin I did em good deals on the parts now! I would also like to repeat the fact that I will happily pay good money for info regarding this stuff... Adelaide is a small place... SOMEONE must know SOMETHING!! Come forth & get cashed up!!

Hey people, It brings me much pain to write that I've had my garage broken into & a handful of parts stolen, at home, while I was asleep in bed... Last week on either Wed or Thurs night between about midnight & 4am some low life scumbags let themselves in to my garage at home, unbolted some parts off my race car (using & then taking MY tools) & also took some other parts I had in there also... I will be MORE than happy to pay good money for information regarding the matter as some of the stuff taken was of GREAT importance to me... Parts include: 1. Nissan RB GTS-R manifold, I have only ever seen one other here in Adelaide so they are super rare. 2. Front mount Intercooler kit off race car, which they used my tools to remove. 3. De-lensed & L.E.D fitted custom R34 headlights, again this is totally custom & 100% unique. 4. Rattle gun, ratchet spanner set, various other tools... 5. Turbo which came with the GTS-R manifold, Unknown jap brand. 6. Intake pipe & Z32 AFM (plug wires cut for quick removal) There is probably more, but for now this is what I know of... Some of the parts are fairly generic, however, the Manifold & headlights CANNOT be mistaken... I hand picked that manifold from a small backstreet garage in Japan back in 2009, bought an entire motor (cos the owner wouldn't separate) & have been holding onto it ever since, waiting for a car to put it on... Which finally arrived just 3 days later There is nothing worse than people who steal from private, individuals who work their arses off to get what they have & have fought for everything they own & it's becoming more & more of a problem every day... Please keep eyes & ears out for any of the above, & if you know something & wanna make some money, PM me thanks everyone...

There is one guy on here in QLD who has these on his V35 coupe & I believe he's running the 10.5s all round in +12 offset but with a 15mm spacer on the rear! ultra aggressive, but does show that it can be done...
-
Yes actually I reckon that's about as close to what I was after as I'll get... I have seen the 'M3 style' lips but they're just a tad too small where as most others seem to then be too big or not Carbon... Cheers for that, much appreciated... I've also seen the 'roof spoilers' on eBay, has anyone run these? or got decent pics where u can see more than just the window itself lol...

Need Help On Wheels Offset For Sedan
Deli Rep replied to yunghumma's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I know the sedan has a little less room than the coupe, but I still don't think that size & offset you've got will be too big or aggressive at all mate... There are guys running 10.5" in +0 or less offset with just some tweaking of suspension, light guard roll & right tyre size so you have HEAPS more room compared to them... -
Hey people, Just wondering if someone can help me out... I'm looking for a Carbon boot lip spoiler for V35 coupe but seem to be having a LOT of trouble finding what I'm after... I don't really care if it's from Oz, Jp, USA etc... But I'm not having much joy finding one at all so does anyone on here know any companies/brands/suppliers that do what I'm after? Nothing as big as the 'Ings' style or anything, something more like the 'Origin' style lips you can get for all the Silvia range & most skylines... pretty small & subtle... Any help would be most appreciated, Thanks in advance.

We Have 2 so far, just need one more... There will be small compensation for fuel costs etc, but also many awesome professional photos taken at not normally accessible locations etc... Only half a day required, for a good cause, great people, good fun. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks again people. Alternatively, if any of you can post up users or usernames of any 34GTR owners that we can attempt to contact in case they just dont see this thread, that too would be a big help. Thanks again
