    I remember browsing through a CBC catalogue and seeing GTR bearings listed. Most newer hubs have sealed bearings that can't be serviced. If the bearings noisy it wants replacing, if not then its fine. Plenty of front wheel drives with similar setup out there have done a zillion km's with out the bearings needing to be touched. Cant see why skyline ones are any different.

    Do you know if the crank is the early short oil pump drive type crank? Any chance you can email me pics of the block?

    Block complete? Does that mean a short block? ie. Assembled Engine minus head

    Thanks for that duncan. I'm qualified so i'll be stripping the donk myself. I'm also well qualified welder, so are you able to show me some pictures of a repaired crank? If too fiddly i'll get someone else to weld it. Thanx

    Who is australia can supply one of these longer pump drive collars? My GTR aint got oil pressure, being an 89 model its probably sheared the crank drive. Happened at start up so hopelfully wont be a big job.
