  1. 8kg heavier than a r33 turbo box.
  2. thanks doof, might see when mats leaving.
  3. just confirming a street adress to put in my sat-nav and start time for volunteers....
  4. my 32 is a 89 model. it was registered in qld. has no intrusion bars in the doors. partly why i ran the cross brace on the driver side of the cage. I have seen some glass doors floating around, but the doors are light once you pull everything out of them. there is considerable weight difference in the alluminium bonnet. it is a must. remove all the bumper bar supports etc. i removd the entire parcel tray and sheeted it with 0.9mm alluminium. same with door trims. no roof lining, glove box, dash cluster, nothing. no power steer, no intercoolers, no wastegates, no turbos, no pipework, nothing. no cast iron engine block lol......you get the picture. 1193kg
  5. nice work Ben, now you have driven twice as many times as me lol. good to see someone else was doing the infield explorations this time. Sorry i missed this one as car was ready but family priority unfortunately. Will definately be there with you at the next one.
  6. yeh e85 will be popular, i was thinking about taking a 205 myself. as for hotel we are trying to organise a caravan and stay in the infield.

  10. reverse gear repaired and gearbox back in the car, looking forward to next track day which will probably be at wakie and then powercruise. weighed car and it went 1193kg which is a little heavier than i thought but still lite enough.
  11. yeh basic lighting and engine loom only. i dont think there is much more that could come out, i didnt realise r32 went 1400kg so i guess loosing 200kg isnt too bad, but getting one down to 1200kg with an iron block would be a great effort, and gtr with 4wd id say impossible, but correct me if im wrong.
  12. weighed mine today, it went 1193kg with 20ltr fuel. Heavyier than i thought by 100kg.
  13. this has got me keen to weigh my car, i have been meaning to do it since i finished it, i have removed everything mentioned and alot more, and am about 60kg lighter in the front end due to the donk, so im hoping 1100kg.
  14. nice pink gearbox x member........i bet theres a story behind that lol. looking good mate, ill get the rail in asap.
  15. you are the guru baron, advice is always clear to understand and most importantly correct. you should have your own talk back column lol. your knowledge is very much needed in the forced induction section where everyone thinks they are an expert lol.
