  1. thanks for the vote doof, where do i send bribe lol. Entry form and cheque in the mail, had to do it the old fashioned way.
  2. in the process of logbooking car as we speak, having it inspected on saturday. im not fussy on where we go as long as everyone is happy. would love to do bathurst feb/march.
  3. would have loved to come for a look, but i think its the same weekend as Homebush, and already have tickets...
  4. what valve springs are in engine?
  5. im in, also trying to organise stalls
  6. such a shame to waste such a beautiful car on the drag strip. bring it to the next SAU track day....you will love it and appreciatethe car so much more. FYI the car at 1300kg and 400hp should be good for mid 11s
  7. can we get some dates for some of these upcoming events.....Bathurst hillclimb would be brilliant. have to get this cams 2s liscence sorted....
  8. i was thinking late jan, early feb.......we will have to look if there are any major motorsporting events on around then, as would not want to do it on same weekend as say F1 (superlap) dumb. Ben from Qld, are you able to see how those dates might fit in for QR..... Anywone from Vic who could do the same would be excellent. Sorry aggroman, i cant wait 4 to 5 months......want trip away with beer cars and strippers sooner rather than latr.
  9. sounds good guys, im depending on you guys for locations as they are all new to me, but i think QR would be awesome. maybe we can fill in for A1s lol
  10. At our last SAU NSW track day at OP it was mentioned that an interstate track day would be fun..... the usual guys expressed interest in a weekend away to race the cars on a new track. well they are all new for me but you get the idea. So just putting it out there to see how many people would be keen on a track day at say QR for example. Leave thursday morning, get home monday. or something similar....Philip Island.... Would be good to cruize up with a dozen people as trip aways are always good and race somwhere different. Hoping our interstate friends would be happy to have us also. looking in the new year sometime.
  11. fantastic shots mate, dont remember doing that....
  12. thanks mate, made a small error with uncle Duncan in the car like missing turn 1 but other than that the car was much better behaved. was much more confident under braking. have some light throttle tuning to sort out and a gearbox selector issue but other than that very happy. car held its own in a staight line against a few cars boasting 70kwatw more, but the weight factor would have a lot to do with it. wet weather sessions were interesting.....but car was solid once it dried out.
  13. great job mate.....love the soundgarden track. love the fact you can still hear the cars. awesome.
  14. yeh second that........we all were concerned when the police turned up....
  15. car was much better behaved this time around, i was confident on the brakes where as last time i shit myself when i had to brake as she wanted to swap ends. Still have to sort out light throttle as it wasnt happy, and check reverse and 6th gear selector as there is an issue there, but all in all, big improvement on last time. might be up for the next group up next track day.
  16. ive got some water wetter you can have, left overs from the shop,
  17. ahhh, must suck to have to run an intercooler........but dont worry, i run out of fuel before you get hot lol.
  18. hey nick, unfortunately its my daughters christening that week-end, but keen for the next one.
  19. ha ha, the dino-line scared him lol. that happened so quick cas...
  20. hey, nice job, love the music
  21. oh my god....el presidente that was a massive stealth one........nobody saw it........ill just drive back on the track and nobody will notice lol.
  22. some excellent pics from nizmo-man, who was filming and taking shots at the flip-flop? love to see some pics from there.....
  23. thanks to everyone who made today possible, after a scetchy start it was a greatday. Thanks to my mate Jay for driving the recovery vehicle which happened to be mine and is now full of mud lol, even our presidente had an infield excursion but did not require assistance . had a great time and developed my own understanding of Duncan sign-language. Car of the day for me was the white 32 GTR that was running in the last session, pushed hard all day and was pulling off some late entries into turn 1. bring on the next track day.
  24. ahhhh. it sucks having no windows. looks like ill be sitting in a wet seat all day. not happy, no wipers either lol. this is dumb.....but im still keen to get up in 6 hours, i just dont understand..... see you all soon.
