  1. yeh they are standard arms. Just fitted bush kits in each end. Can get over 3deg neg on the rear which is way to much anyway and at the time i got them the new adjustable arms were still in the developement stage and were proving unreliable, and the standard arms are strong.
  2. thought i saw you cruise past, we were sexying here up for possible photo shoot on tuesday.
  3. not sure of the break-up as i bought the lot as a package. total was $3800
  4. what.......surely one of your cars is going.
  5. yeh, probably should keep both hands on the wheel instead of one out the window ya noob.....my arse hole got so tight when you were heading towards the concrete........rofl
  6. you're a bad man. you were nearly the first one to stack it lol.
  7. ill see how the tremec goes next friday. Going up to Unigroup in the morning to finish up the tune. Ill try to get more video of decent quality this time.
  8. the eco-tech is still cast iron so it would be at least 60kg heavier, the alloytech in the vz onwards would be lighter.
  9. haha, when i saw this thread i wondered if you would be lurking in here Adrian...... just curious if the engine is built and has forged internals, if so why are we talking about 75 and 100 pills? shold be multipying these amounts by atleast 2.
  10. ill think youl find that its illegal to run undertrays past the rear of the front bar in some classes.
  11. yeh i agree, the 5.0s are a cast iron boat anchor. 165kw. and not sure why you would condider a v6 conversion when you can bolt a turbo'd RB straight in.
  12. basically, if you were going to leave the engine standard and rego. 1) Fabricate engine mounts. 2) fit steering rack that will fit still encorporating power steer or run a manual rack. Rack ends to suit. 3) Transmission Crossmember 4) Tailshaft 5) Exhaust including modified extractors. 6) R33 clutch master cylinder bored one size oversize. 7) Radiator hoses (could use standard radiator) Thermo Fan 8) Throttle cable 9) Speed sensor compatibillity? 10) Misc plumbing e.g heater, booster, intake, air, steer. etc 11) Wiring 12) Modify fuel system (no return line) Reg intank. these are the main points i can think of off the top of my head. all conversions are similar, this one did not require things like crossmember, sump or trans tunnel mods which was good. and its a tidy fit, easy to change plugs and remove gearbox.
  13. its funny that as some of those jnr dragsters are quicker over half track than Skylines ive seen at street meets lol.
  14. would be easier to buy a turbo engine and swap. possibly cheaper also.
  15. nah he wants manifold to cylinder head gasket i think. If so you can by them genuine. About $120. Replace all the studs while you have it off. They are only about $1.20ea.
  16. most guys re-locate the battery and sit it down behind the D/S headlight.
  17. pretty cheap too, $4k will buy you a complete LS2 6.0l brand new. Has alternator, water pump, balancer, steer pump compressor, and coils, throttle body everything.
  18. let me know if you want o look at the V6 Commodore converted Transit.
  19. put cam gear on it and set it up on dyno. 10deg sounds excessive and the fact its in a 32 wont make a difference. but you never know.
  20. 1 vote for group buy on Touregs.
  21. Had a look on carsales today, 08 Mitsubishi Triton single cab 2wd 3.2 TD for $18000. Ive had my GLXR for two years now and have towed everything from Toranas to Commodores to Skylines to buggys, and its awesome. over 420nm of torque. Excellent turning circle and good fuel economy. Get 9ltrs to the hundred around town, under 8lts on the freeway and about 13ltrs with 1800kg on the back. Best thing it is comfortable. and has 10 year 160,000km warranty.
