  1. hey guys can any one source me a Cams safety cage registration form?
  2. super clean Coop, nice job. To pretty for the track lol. hope you bring it down south.
  3. well done Ben, great to see that you got her out on the track, all the waiting and headaches sound well worth it. I guess driving your car would be a cross between a go-kart and a car, handling and behaviour of a kart but speed of a car. sounds like too much fun. I hope my debut is as successfull as yours. Congrats again mate.
  4. i know its freaky hey, would have loved to come down and watch even, but have to get this going, dont want too miss any more good days. Im looking good, as long as there is no more tuning issues, should have it finished by the end of this week, just the wheel alignment to sort out. Any help would be much apreciated (Duncan, Brad) lol
  5. sounds like a great day and successfull SAU event. Will definately be there at the next one now that the car is running. Hope the clutch went well Bobby. Ill see you guys at JBs track day......you have made me jealous big time.
  6. yes it runs............whoooohoooo. It actually went accidently. We primed the fuel system to set fuel presure and check for leaks, and i thought i would give it a crank just to see if we had enough battery and it popped. i thought SH*T, THIS IS GOING TO FIRE....so i cranked it again and off she went. Only ran it for thirty seconds or so but sounded the business and all the vitals were there. ie oil pressure etc. Had some ECU connection issues as the computer wouldnt let us talk to it, so going to try another one on monday. Think this one may have been security locked. but overall very happy.
  7. I worked on a new petrol navara a few days ago., had VQ40DE engine, same family as VQ25 in M series stageas and alike. This thing went like the clappers, heaps of torque. Love to see a race prepped one with some huffers hanging off it. nice and compact too.
  8. i guess everybody else new about the cd player issues..........mine is f#@ked and i never got the chance to use it. didnt think to check it when i bought the car. what are the options?
  9. yeh no problems, it will be down at Kons, going to fire it there.
  10. yeh so far so good. finished all the plumbing tonight and started the door trims and parcel shelf. told you those Jim Berry clutches are a good thing
  11. thats a date Jas.
  12. ill probably be running around like a chook with no head lol. ill get someone else to video it. Had a productive evening tonight, Fabricated a IAC (idle air control) to suit the new manifold. Butchered the standard throttlebody to do it but hey. Just have to plumb it up. Also fabricated the breather can and radiator overflow. Ill do all the plumbing 2morro. Also finished the fuel rails, can plumb them and fit pressure guage. busy week ahead.
  13. tell us what you really think Baron lol....
  14. just a small update, was talking with my mate who is tuning the car and i asked him about launch control and data logging, he said that both are possible with the standard ecu. stoked.
  15. yeh remove screw and lever inbetween cover at base of key shaft. part number mentioned is correct.
  16. id dare say you would be competative, im with you, not sure on door to door stuff, especially after seeing some of Duncans footage....
  17. how about Ls1 powered sports sedan?
  18. i know im spewing too, would have liked to make this meeting, but it wont happen. Hope to have all the tin-work done this week. Aiming to fire it next Saturday. Then have to tune it and set suspension up. You guys have fun, ill be at the next one.
  19. Key Remote battery cr1620
  20. yeh the ultimates are dusty and noisy. Thats why i steered away from them, besides this is our family car that the wife drives.
  21. im going to give Bendix HDs a go on the front & Bendix 4WD on the rear.
  22. Can anyone give me definate part numbers for front and rear brake pads for M35 Stagea ARX. 2003 build in Bendix Or RDA
  23. I bought my first Stagea On the week-end. I looked at a heap of C34s, most were overpriced, shit or had fudged speedo readings. I actually contacted you regarding yours, which is very tidy but wife wanted leather. at the end of the day i went with a M35. They are well priced. Can get them starting at 15K now, which is probably your biggest issue. I bought a 8/03 AR-X with 32000ks for 20K with a years rego, and its clean. Figured if i was going to pay 17, why not pay a little more and get the newer model.
  24. i was about to ask that question, i was a bit concerned when i saw the boost guage nudge 1 bar. we always ran eboosts on Rb powered stuff with haltechs, microtechs and Apexis, but the M35 engine management with the automatic is a different animal. would definately have to be a piggy back controlling fuel and ignition only leaving factory ecu to control trans.
