My First Clutch Change
BezerkR32 replied to CK34GT's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
agreed, this is definately the right clutch for your application. i have fit over two dozen of these to customer cars and a dozen cushion buttons, you must run an organic clutch plate for a street driven car. the hd and hhd is just the clamping force of the pressure plate. Exedy claim that their hd has 20% more clamp than standard. these arent a bad clutch for around that money. if you wanted a better clutch id go the nismo coppermix. -
hey mate, nice to hear from you. i think i was going through some kind of depression lol. engines back together and will be fitting it soon. still need a diff centre but got the itch back to drive it.

Anyone Know Any Good Workshops In Wollongong?
BezerkR32 replied to clippy213's topic in New South Wales
thanks for the kind words guys. yes i am now managing Autostop service centre on Montague St North Wollongong. See attached link. We do all the usuall logbook servicing as well as blue & pink ticket inspections & defect clearances. And as most of you know all mechanical repairs on our favourite imports. We tend to stay clear of any heavy modifications these days but will do minor stuff. please feel free to call if you have any questions or would like an estimate for a job. cheers Stuart. http://autostop.net.au/index.php/Homepage/ -
A Career In The Automotive Industrie.
BezerkR32 replied to alex182's topic in General Automotive Discussion
at the end of the day it comes down to coin...............the automotive industrie does not pay well, the average mechanic is on between $21-$25 an hour. a good one with plenty of experience will make up to $30. sometimes this can be coupled in with a workshop controller or managerial position. i have been on the spanners sinse leaving school in 94 and am only making the latter now. i ran my own business for 5 years and really enjoyed that as we worked on a lot of modified cars, so it was always interesting. now with the P plate laws and modified car restrictions that scene is very quiet. i still enjoy work but as for then working on cars in my spare time...i have no interest. there are alot of other paths to take other than mechanic in the automotive industrie which would be worth looking at. my experience only........not gospel. -
lol, being the servent of those who live the good life does have its advantages........ congratulations guys on being able to make these opportunities for yourselves........you make me sick lol.

External Isolation Switch For 32 Gtr - Help
BezerkR32 replied to No.96's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
YES MATE, YOU WILL HAVE TO RUN THE CABLE TO THE SWITCH WHERE THE DRIVER CAN ACCESS IT, AND REMOTE IT VIA CABLE OUTSIDE. -
ive been watching the pitlane incident over and over and cant help but think that the renault lollypop man saw the wheel off rosbergs car coming and moved, which accidently released his driver into the path of the force india. might just be the camera angle but it all happened at the same time.

congratulations on what sounds like another fantastic SAU event. Hope to be at the next one.

pulled engine last week and removed a big end set and a main set of bearings. They actually were borderline of going back in, but have decided to change them anyway. Sump is being repaired and bearings on order. Im 4 days out of knee surgery so in no position too do any work. Probably look at it again in a few weeks.
