  4. shame they arent 10s and 8s. not sure what will fit a 10 on the front. good luck with sale.
  5. yeh and no Ben, ive towed to Willowbank a couple of times and also Heathcote twice and 100s of times to EC and never had an issue. but have lent the trailer out and sure enough twice it has had blow-outs. maybe just shit drivers, not sure but all that was replaced was the tyre, not the tow car and race car. single axles might be good for aussie cars or something light but wouldnt be towing anything heavy on one. simple dual axle sprung trailers are good and cheap enough, but the enclosed jobby jobby with storage space would be great. might need something bigger than the triton to pull a big enclosed trailer though. but i hear what you saying, some trailers should have rego lol.
  6. when his 60 comes down so will his mph, 14.0 @ 98 is looking good.
  7. whats the application? i have run .48 on sr20s and ca18s, and .63s on rb20s with good success, anything bigger would be fairly laggy unless it was for a rb25 or 30. GCG has the turbine housings.
  8. have been looking at intake manifolds for a while, the Harrop item was looking like the go but after some research it was found that it would be difficult to adapt different length ram tubes to it as it was designed to fit in the commodore and this is not an option due to bonnet height etc. harrop was also very difficult to get in contact with as they do not return faxes or email. obviously dont want to sell any. Came across another Australian made intake, well priced and is designed for interchanging ram tubes. i also know the guy who spins them up so can get a few sets made. once car is back on the ground and engine fitted im hoping to get one of these babies.

  12. All businesses are to contact SAUTraderAdmin before advertising anything on these forums We would only want the forum rules enforced consistently by admin.
  13. haha, thanks for the warm welcome guys. my journey to the dark side is complete. the guys in the drag section were getting confused when i started doing susupension & brake upgrades. at least you guys understand whats going on.
  14. vr 5litre cable. dont have to loop it.
  15. have you had a bad experience with an interstate workshop or is this some State Of Origin rivalry?
  16. that is rather disrespectful to alot of tuners in the sydney area, Unigroup engineering, GEM, etc. just because you build alot of skylines and have a dyno on premises doesnt make you a tuner. unless you have had tunes at a few different shops, you wouldnt know a good tune from a poor one.
  17. last time i was down in melbourne i found plenty of places to get things flocked.
  18. probably blew the dip-stick out.
  19. yeh, i agree, the manufacturers will have no interest. maybe a controll chassis with manufacturers power plants.
  20. i was at OP on Sat arvo/night, went and watched Niel in the Radicall, looked like heaps of fun. Also met Duncan so good to be able to put faces to names. Was surprised at the mix of cars that were there. Street cars to race cars. NO SKYLINES. was a RB powered silvia that was quick. Did you go on Sunday?
  21. Microtech are great ECUs for motorsport applications but do not have the tuneabillity of a Power FC. For a daily driven car that you want to drive like standard, cold start and cruise, power FC is the go. The fact that it doesnt run idle air control, knock, are two reasons i wouldnt use one in a street car, and i have fitted over a dozen before Power FCs were available,
  22. what he is saying that sometimes people give opinions on topics they have no idea about, and have no liabillity at the end of the day if they give you a bum steer.
  23. i had GTR rear quater panels fitted to my 32, cant see why it couldnt be done to a 33. about $1800 for panels Genuine. payed a beater cash to fit them but if you are a beater/painter it will be easy for you.
