Has been stated before but try to import one from Tokyo CBD and not from the country (snow area) where they salt the roads. My 32 has some rust, repairable but still rust, have seen some horror stories though. My apprentice bought a 4 door that was imported from Tokyo and is perfect. Good luck, just remember age, not so much mileage because they fudge the speedos. try to get a ninetys model.

Pitty the place is a shit hole. no water, no power, toilets 2km away, no showers, poor PA system. if it wasnt for good company last time i would never consider camping there again.

Arc Super Induction Box

Had a customer who had one fitted in a WRX, said it was excellent. AFM should bolt up the same. -
Test N Tune 27th August @ Wsid

Excellent, did you end up changing the box aswell? -
I think it might have a bit to do with workshops aswell, i know i encourage customers to run their cars at SC events and Supernats etc, we have a bbq, race etc, all is good. I know other shops like Croydon do the same, always got a few cars running. Just seems alot of owners dont have the same ties or relationship with a workshop, judging by reading the forced induction section most guys try to work on their own cars, and therefore dont really want to make the treck on there own. It is hard to race by yourself. Maybe some incentives for workshops who have a good number of cars running.

Thats standard of most skyline owners, i have come to learn over a period of time browsing this forum that there are alot of keyboard drag racers. 20000 members, at least 2000 that claim there cars make big power etc etc but i reckon i can count on my fingers the amount of guys ive seen at a SC meeting. Alot of street racing cowboys. its a shame as it would be good to have full fields and would knock the chip of some peoples shoulders. Passing time slips around instead of dyno sheets. i bet some people would be surprised.

Testing new fuel setup on the Galant, also setting up rear end. Was wondering if anyone else was testing?

Arrgghh Impossible Misfire Problem :( Pls Help!
BezerkR32 replied to Konrad's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
If you can narrow the miss down to one cylinder then you can test the follwing, Injector pulse, ignition, Compression. could have a dickie injector or hydraulic lifter. until you can isolate the cylinder causing the problem, you will be chasing your tail. -
A wet nitrous system provides its own fuel, the engines injectors arent required to do any more work. if you run a dry system which is gas only then you have to add the fuel through your engines injectors.

Can you narrow the missfire down to one cylinder? -
Have some cams, springs and gears i ordered for a series 1 Rb25, customer owes me money so i kept them. PM me if interested.

Boost controller would be more your issue rather than gate size. you are right in what you are saying but it relates more to bigger turbo setups. here is an example of a modified Z18 engine running a Gt25/40 internal gated, makes over 350rwhp on 19psi. This car is at the stage wher it wants a turbo and wastegate upgrade. If you decide to go external gate a 38mm Turbosmart ultragate will be ample.
-
Yes RB20 & RB25 are hydraulic, Neo runs solid setup. Dont know that RB20 & 25 springs are same part number though. Neo would definately be different just as the 26 is.

Get the car tuned first, then pull around 4deg timing total out. use pills recommended in kit. these are on the fat side. start from there. Start with 900psi bottle pressure. will need a Air fuel meter to do this. best done on track. Not familiar with too many shops in Melbourne as i am from wollongong but buy kit from Barney at VPW and he should be able to advise you on who too see.

Cutting Front Bumper Support?
BezerkR32 replied to WazR32GTSt's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Unfortunately you are in a catch22 situation, the bar wont fit correctly as it is wider, so buying the correct support may be the only way from stopping it from looking tacky. otherwise sell the bar and buy a fibreglass GTr style bar to suit GTST front. about $500 with N1 vents, if your like me you will be pissed if you go to all this trouble and it doesnt look right. -
Agree 100% whos telling you you need to put an external gate to run higher boost pressure?
-
GTR bar wont fit. need to get fibreglass GTR bar to suit GTST, i just bought one from JS Auto Imports. Excellent quality and fit. Also does N1 vents and lip, grills etc. Give him a ring. 0405 153 290. his name is Josh.

As long as you are able to adjust ignition timing with it, then yes it would work. need to pull total timing out when the gas is on. A/F you adjust with fuel and bottle pressure & different pill sizes. In saying that if you are looking to get maximum performance out of your car a stand alone may be necessary as to get full potential out of the tune before you add the gas. Can run 1 bar of boost and 100 shot on standard engine with standard injectors etc.
-
Please dont get the dyno sheet debate running again, they mean shit unless we have a before and after sheet off the same dyno. the figures arent whats important, its the difference between the figures after the modification that matter.
-
Regardless of what people have been telling you, you can run 100 wet shot comfortably, all you need is fuel pump upgrade which you already have, Aftermarket engine management e.g PFC and the Kit. with the correct tune the car will make around 250rwkw and be capable of mid 11sec passes. This is not a toy for the street though. and we will soon see how heavy duty your clutch is. You can buy wet kits starting from $990 which include everything to get started, just need to add bottle warmer $ pressure guage to tune. Dry systems require the fuel to be added through the injector rail and sometimes require the upgrade of injectors. is not something you can fine tune urself unless you have extensive knowledge of tuning with PFC or ECU you decide to use. People on this forum have been running the bottle for a couple of seasons know with no engine failures. By far the best bang for your buck.
