Agree completely, will be good racing, not sure where everybody is saying that there was a 14 second car running though, The car Theo ran qualified with a 11.8 @ 120 which is fairly solid for a RB25, he nursed a clutch problem which saw him back the boost off, car was still running 12.18 in the finals. The only reason it ran a 14 against Theo was because he was still waiting for Theo to stage 2 seconds after he had been shown the green light. People have been blubbering about sportsmanship, this alone proves that this incident was unintentional. Will be very happy to run any other RB25 powered Skylines that have run mid 11s, Just goes to show that alot of you like to throw your 20cents in even though you werent there to see exactly what took place. Suggest you all strap a helmet on and have a go instead of telling everybody else how to race.

water is going out the exhaust brother, Chemical testing the system is the way to go, blown head gaskets dont always blow to an oil gallery, most common is cylinder to cooling system. other test is to pressure test cooling system with spark plugs out, then crank engine, if water is blown out of spark plug tube, thats bad. something has caused the car to overheat, repair leak, check thermostat, flush radiator. Blown headgasket is the result of something else failing.

Running DIS4 HO on Galant With MSD coils. Hold up to 36 psi boost out of HKS T51R SPL, Been running it for 18 months now.

should see that power with 75 hp bottle,otherwise 40 psi boost on a 35 40. otherwise i dont think so.

Will make between 280 & 310 kw at tyres, valve train gives up around 20psi at 7000rpm, will also suffer from compressor surge with standard cams. Power is good for high too mid 11 sec pass with correct combination of bolt ons though.

I have read a couple of threads where people were asking which turbo on RB26 for street/strip. I told them we were currently fitting a GCG 35/66 SPL on a GTR and that i would post results.. The car is finished and has been Dynod, unfortunately it ran out of injector at 13 PSI ( SARD 650cc) to my amazement, but made 275kw on Unigroups dyno. I drove the car today for the first time and was blown away by the torque, the same if not less lag than the standard twins, comes on strong and stays on right through too 8000rpm. Very impressive, can reccomend this upgrade for anyone who is looking for a very streetable single turbo. Car should see well over 320kw with a bit more boost. other mods include : APEXI D-Jetro Bosh 044 fuel pump eBoost custom 3" dump pipe turbosmart 48mm wastegate Hi flow cat into 4" exhaust. Tomei Inlet and exhaust cam gears. Thanks to unigroup for excellent tune and John for his patience.

Nothing stopping these guys running oz mod, besides you dont have too make excuses for them, Theo and Mark obviously dont have a problem with it and are happy running where they are. Im sure they will tell you that thats racing, shit happens.

I understand that spectators are important, not sure that they come to watch SRWD, agree that 9 sec passes are awesome, but think they get there monies worth overall. Do you think the PAC boys gave a shit when they backed the car out on their final run, thousands of people were waiting for that pass, and nothing happened. I think its the promoters job to keep the crowd happy, not the racers. There is something to take from everybodys point of view. hopefully people involved are reading this thread and taking note. I still think racing was good, even with the heavy hitters out early which was unfortunate, but some gread drag racing. Shanes win over Daniel in the semi was as close as you will see, both cars getting driven out the back door. and the final runs were as close as you will see, even with the f**k up, well done to those who competed, and bad luck and better luck next time to those who didnt have the best day including myself, incase you didnt see me brake out by 2 weeks, very funny.

The funniest thing about this whole incident was that Daniel didnt even realise what was going on, he was concentrating on staging his car, when he did so he waited for Theo. He waited two seconds after he had been shown the green light. His RT was 2.0. His crew were screaming at him to go. It was so unintentional. the guy has only done about 10 PASSES. Theo's car is possibly out of its depth in SRWD as his car is heavily modified, this will happen again as most of the field are stock or midly modified cars. I agree that it will be better for everyone when the classes are seperated, Otherwise there is always oz mod. I myself raced in an elimination for the first time on sunday and to be honest, i have know idea where the other car was when i staged. Guess its a experience thing.
