which tyres you recommend and how much approx?

guess tyres have to wait... tyres are pretty damn expensive...

i find that the r34 has no traction whatsoever even with tcs on. i am in straight line in 2nd and decide to step on it a bit and it begins to lose traction.. this is in the dry and i can feel the power back off to stop the wheels from spinning up... is this usually the case or have i just got really crappy tires, though new, i have never heard of the brand.. it's WAH"somthing"

i have the xenon... no way i will sell them... have you seen how mad they look? *drools* i will take it to a mechanic or panel beater to fix.... when i have the money.

I'm sure that would get you outta trouble but I don't think that would work for me:P Pretty happy with the car in terms of performance but afterall it's a second hand car so there are drawbacks.

First weekend in my R34 and I am already worried about coppers. Was at the light waiting to turn right when a cop came from the other direction. As soon as he saw me, he braked and drove really slow.... then u-turned to follow me.... Luckily there was a car already behind me and the light were turning yellow so i slowly and deliberately turned so that he would have to run the red light to catch me. For my sake he didn't but it has already soured my weekend. Nothing illegal on the car, but i know they will pick on my Xenons as they are so white/blue and my extra dark rear windows, which by the way are not film tinted so it would be a hassle to change. Anyways... lets see how things go as i heard this blitz is going to last for 6mths only. cheers

Anyone know how to fix the problem of moisture in the headlights of an R34??? It had "apparently" been fixed but it's funny how water still gets in. Can it be done myself and what should i use to seal it? Or should i take it to mechanic or panel beater?? cheers

rev zone and sonic can not help you... they only sell mods and accessories... the best place i recommend and Auswide Panels in Ringwood. The do all the body kits for RevZone, Sonic Racing, Makspeed etc.... very very good from my experience. cheers.

what is the best exhaust? I don't think many people get chambered exhausts anymore.... there are many straight thru exhausts that are quiet on turbo cars.... not sure which ones though i heard that hks, fujitsubo are very good.. but some others like buddyclub are loud ass.

now i'm worried cos i am buying a gtt r34 this instant.. i have already paid deposit and filled out my details of the vicroads form and left the rest blank so that the seller can register the car for me... i think this is a big mistake.. what do you think he can do with it? also how do we check if a car has been stolen from japan???

how wide are the stock tyres???

thanks... done some research.. i think front 17x8 rear 17x9 (guessing)... which would be the same as the Evolution R 200sx. He has front 215/45 rear 235/45. I might go the same or 10mm wider front and rear. The profile will be 45 as thisi s what it is on the stock r34 alloys.

excellent idea... we need to speak up... it's one thing being tough and checking for mods, but to be so hostile is just not exceptable. Lets sign a petition or write a letter to let people know what we "descent" hard working folks have to put up with. I'm definitely not the one to cause trouble or hurt a fly, but don't push me ...hahah

sorry nismor34... didn't get your post... went with pushead and i put a deposit on it already. Q: they have 17inch buddy club P1 wheels...don't know if it's x 7, 8 or 9 inch. I know the back is wider. At the moment it has 225/45 tyres and they don't really fill out the rims. Front is ok, but back need wider tyres. What's a good size as i don't wanna go too wide, or it will look like 4wd wheels or a fat chick trying to fit into Satch jeans. cheers

the teins that i am offered for my r34 are the HR model... should i take these or still to the GAB's??hmmm the GABs are quite hard.. Pushead and I felt like we were on a roller coaster ride. dilemma..

why did you have to pop your petrol cap.. i'm getting an r34 with no nosil restriction so i can pump super petrol... i'm not going to use super, but is it illegal to not have this restriction??? scared!
