    Hi guys, Has anyone sent a cat back exhaust interstate before? How much did it cost and do i just rock up to the post office with it? I know i read something somewhere awhile ago, but can't find it. Cheers

    i would just let the cops know about the incident... it's really disturbing how people can threaten others like that.

    It appears the water from the windscreen area gets into a few gaps and grooves and makes it way down the inside of the panels, where it drips right onto one of the pods. Strange... i tried putting some silicon here and there so hopefully it helps.

    Has anyone had problems with water getting under the hood and causing their air filter pods to get wet? I noticed that one of my hks pods on my gtr is wet and there is a little puddle of water in the engine bay after i washed my car... will this cause damage to the engine? cheers.

    i actually work on top of bmw:P i'm ok for lunch or afterwork, but afterwork drinks would prolly be more relaxing. sometime this week or before the next big cruise would be ideal.

    From what i know, a stock GTR runs 11psi boost. Removing the restrictor, it will run at 14psi. That's what I've done with mine, but i have a cat back exhaust. I don't think there is any harm.

    how can a twin plate clutch be easy to drive on the street as a daily driver? I have driven cars with twin plate and i hated it... is it different on a gtr as i recall someone saying something about the gtr having some kinda spring.... dunno

    good question, i assume a circuit car would be set up differently to a drag car.

    a stock gtr puts out approx 160kw - 170kw at the wheels. my mates' gtrs has approx 230kw at the wheels, with the standard clutch still working fine and i have been told by many workshop a single plate will do fine.... well i hope they are right cos i don't wanna have made the wrong choice:(

    The gearknob fits perfectly and goes all the way to the shift boot. I have it lying around if you wanna check the fit, though i'm not selling. Hope this helps.

    A single plate heavy duty can handle up to 300kw on a GTR.

    Those are pretty impressive power outputs and impressive times.. i'm keen to take my car to the strip asap. I have hks cat back exhaust, hks pods, hks intercooler, boost tweak to about 14psi by Ben (racepace), but i'm only pulling 203kw. Hope i can do 12's ...hahah Looks like i have to get Ben to work it more. ferni> i was planning to check out dean's car.

    i just got the exedy single plate organic sports... driven about 400kms and bites quite good... but i still have trouble nudging forward and reversing as it shudders... not sure how long before this wears off.
