So it's pretty much a mini godzilla with extra doors. RB20DET 5 Speed Manual 4WD ATTESSA HICAS 113,xxx km Power windows Power mirrors Climate control CD player and tape deck Turbo timer Only mods are full 3" exhaust from the turbo, with Kakimoto racing cat-back, KYB sports shocks and springs, Momo steering wheel, Impul gearknob and R33 stockies. I'll also include a Black Widow 3-point immobiliser alarm thats brand new. Complies with Australian standards and is approved by most insurance companies. The car is in great mecahnical condition. Still running stock air-box, bov and boost. The car is always serviced every 5000kms.

  9. hey guys, thanx for the advice I think i'll go to Integra just cause its closer. I dont think its my air flow meter, as i still run the stock airbox with a panel filter, and i cleaned the element about a month ago with carby cleaner. How would i tell if the timing belt is slipping? Thanx
  10. Hey I've been having problems with my skyline for some time. It a silver r32 4 door GTS4 manual. Only mod is full 3" exhaust. It seems to be running very sluggish/hesitant after 4000rpm. Everytime i adjust the timing, it will go hard but several minutes later, the car will gradually go back to its sluggish state. I think the ECU is retarding itself. So i ran a ecu diagnostic thinking it might be a faulty knock sensor but got code55 (everythings ok). I've recently changed the plugs and fuel pump catch. The oil and oil filter are still failry new. So i dont know wot the problem could be. So where would be a good place be to take my skyline. I've heard good things about the place at Ampol servo in queanbeyan (intergra i think is). Is there any others you would recommened. Thanx
  11. hey, thanx memph , i had a look, but all i could find where these two things that went into the block that kinda looked like o2 sensors, probably about 3-4cm long and about 1-2cm in diameter, with a single wire coming out the top of them. Is that them?
  12. hey, ive been trying to look for my knock sensors in my rb20 also, but i cant seem to find them. Can you explain roughly what they look like, a pic would be excellent. thanx
  13. Hey, i'm also interseted to find out where the knock sensors are (in rb20), as they maybe the reason to why my car is acting up. I tried looking for them but couldnt seem to find them. All i could find where these things that went into the block that kinda looked like o2 sesnors near cylinders 2 and 5.
  14. 1. Nah its not blowing smoke 2. wot is a lean pop? 3. nah its not pinging throughout the rev range 4. i cant tell if the timing is stayind where i set it at. I know the crank angle sesor isnt moving that for sure, but cause i do the timing by trial and error (adjustd it, drive it, adjust it again). i cant tell. I should invest in a timing gun 5. yea i checked that, and all pipes are tight How do u go about adjusting timing with a timing gun, i read somewhere you need to take apart the coil packs or something. Or theres some white wire at the back near the firewall thanx

Hey i have a r32 4 door turbz, and lately i have noticed that it doesnt accelerate through the upper end of the tacho (4,000+) as fast as it should and sometimes it would just no go past 4500 revs in gears. It felt like the engine was just out of puff. You could feel the torque from about 3-4000 but torque and power would just die off. So i adjusted the timing and it went alot better (no pinging), but after about 5 minutes you could notice that the proformance had slightly droped off. And the next day the car would go back to its slugish ways. So the next day timing was again adjusted but day or two after it would again be back to it slow state. WTF is going on ? Is the ecu retarding it self? Only mods on the car is full 3" exhaust. Fuel filter and fuel pump catchment was replaced 1000kms ago, oil and oil filter still failry fresh, and spark plugs arent too bad either. Any advice would be helpful, Thanx

  17. Is it possible to fix plastic front bars? I know you can repair fibreglass. And the crack is quite big.
