  7. well the red ones a 4spd! and the white one is an auto both a complete, i brought the white one for $600 about 2 weeks ago for parts and wen i was loading it on to the trailer (flat batt) i and my dad decided it was way way to good to use for parts, So im going to do a clean up on it give it a fresh coat of paint convert it to man, and just drive it. the red one is going to go through a complete restore leather supercharged on straight gas hopefully a bit of a sleeper show pony wepn, "if that works" lol. the both run quite well, yours looks fantastic alfadog even your "other one"

  14. hey all some1 may have asked this b4 but i was wondering does anyone have any idea about how these "speed" cameras opperate in vic? the ones that sit out the front of the civic complyance cars, this morning at 5:30am! i was travling the oppersit direction on the other side of a 4 lane road, (it also had a grassy section imbetween the 2 sets of lanes) so towards the car, it was a bit dark and i didnt c the car and FLASH, ??? it was one of the older style cameras that sit on the ground not the new hidden ones that mount on the bumper of the cars. was it me? i dont know but can they book me is the question i need answered ive asked a few guys and they recon not but maby some one hear would be a lil more shore? 18. Dads was bought in 73 I am sorry, my mistake. September 73 to be precise. His was a 240K GL coupe, and was metallic blue, with 14x6 5 slot alloy wheels. w00t. I loved this car like there was no tomorrow, it was such a joy riding round in the car when the cars of the day were hq holdens and xb fords. The fact that it had IRS and a gaggle of other gimicky interior items (even carpet and a fan forced heater as standard) made it extra special in its day. The 240K left em all for dead in both performance and equipment levels. It was involved in a very scary accident in the adelaide hills after the brake fluid boiled, and the car spun a heap of times and frightened the crap out of me. The paint on the car faded to nothing as well, but it didn't put me of my nissans. I have seen several 240K GT badged 240 K's. Becaue I loved them so much, I have tended to look out for them over the years, and I do recall even as early as 1973 seeing some GT badged cars. My dad kept the car for six years when he traded it in on (of all things) a second hand HZ Holden. Go Figure. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My c110 "240K" Hardtop coupe was first regd in 1971, i thought that was about wen they first started getting brought in? it even has the 4spd box in it
