Does weight do that much of a difference? Should I be ripping out the original fuel tank and other little things in the hopes of getting the car lighter? I keep trying to start a diet to lose 20kgs from the drivers seat but probably easier to get it from the car... I'll be cheering for you to take over in SRWD to give shane a run for his money...

You get 3 qualifyers, then if there is time you can line back up and have more "practice runs" which do not count towards anything. The reason they let you do this is because generally there are not many people in the staging lanes and it keeps the spectators seeing cars go down the track. You should be able to get in at least 4 runs plus the eliminations depending on oil downs etc.

Shane, Are you looking at getting the car off the line quicker (60 foot) or just getting the converter to lock up better and down the track?

Getting there slowly.... Think I have the converter sorted out now, getting a CDI in a couple of weeks and then it should go ok. I need to work out how to get a bigger dump pipe to fit though.

Adrian, Can you get the 235/60 15's cheap yet?
