so who put the metal head gasket in? was it done in aus? were any other internals done?
with those mods and shitty looking wheels like that tells you the car wasnt sitting in a show room.
my money is on it craps itself before the 100k service..
my opinion is to buy a gtr with great body and screwed engine for about the $15k mark and use the 10k to rebuild your own engine..
that way you know what you've done to is and work has warranty (to some degree). also the car feels more like your own becaause you have decided what you want from it.
only dis advantace is that you wont have the car for a while while an engine is built.

since when do u have a misfire problem and budget $2k for it?? obviously your not telling us the whole story. i get my car tuned there and tom is nothing but helpfull.
If they wouldnt touch your car then im sure it was for good reason, you make it sound like they wouldn't just because they wernt in the mood.
i dont see the problem, its standard turbo right? no boost controller?
so its spiking to 12psi, standard rb20 actuator is 10psi i think, then above 5k boost is dropping to 8psi..
thats what my stock rb20 used to do.
does the car still run smoothly when u drive?
there's alot of things you can check. ultimately, if the car drives and you can get it on a dyno, do it...
so u have a buyer for water temp and boost (me)
limpus for oil pressure
and r32gts-t for EGT
that leaves u with a oil temp
left to sell
