  1. nice.. what rpm did it hit 18psi?
  2. if u want reliability then stick with the rb20 funny that the rb20 is older yet seems there is many more 25's and 26's blowing up... maybe due to the fact that every man and his dog has either an r33 or 89 gtr
  3. stupidity and carelessness
  4. ill be the 1st "its vtak yo"
  5. did your brother call the cops? i normally go there, next time ill spend an extra $50 and go somewhere else..

  8. Did u try just jump starting it and see how it goes?? sometimes it just needs a good 40mins and then its fine.. but if u leave the car alone for the next day and its dead again then u know to replace it
  9. PM roy or 2GU UP.. pretty sure there was a thread about these a while ago and i think they had a supplier..
  10. thats a bit hard to belive... can u imagine it hitting a wall? lol
  11. mitsu turbo's are supplied to trust but i dont think trust releases and specs on their turbo's so i pressume the only changes they make are to the housings, evo turbos are different varients of the TD05 and the only larger varients to the td06 is the td07 and then after that trust makes the t67 and etc http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=655
  12. anyway.. 2 different point of views drawn from different experiences. lol
  13. are you trying to make your point or make excuses? your right!! not many shops can emulate and in this case we are talking about skylines only.. what are the advantages again??
  14. so what your saying is that a standard ECU is perfected over a long period of time by a team of engineers.. then you have a aftermarket ecu which is also reasearched, tested etc by engineers for a 1/5 of the time.. then you have some worshop who remaps a perfect ecu over only a couple hours supposedly making is better than what those engineers can? fact: if a standard remap is better and more cost effective then why isnt it everyones number one choice??
  15. happy bday mikey Di' Angelo
  16. well if you have access to a free dyno then congrats.. for everyone else?? can you provide us with a $$ cost? and your worshop recommends a remap over a aftermarket ecu? good luck with that.. i have dealt with both senarios and can say from personl experience, both performance wise and cost wise.. and aftermarket ecu is the go
  17. what is the price difference between retuning a standard ecu compared to a aftermarket unit?? have u had experience with both? if so please provide us with you breakdown of cost
  18. capricossa, no anchovies, fetta cheese and beer
  19. lol yeh all the jap tuners have no idea what they are doing.
  20. bd4's can update your software to the latest they have.. i prefer to leave the tuning to the pro's bd4's will promise you that if there is any probs with their tune later down the track for no apparent reason they will fix it for free
  21. CRD doesnt tune the the fcon no more. its not a piggy back at all, you can run it standalone but as mashrock said, the standard ecu is there for A/C and 1 other thing i cant recall also are those 2 plugs male or female?? if they are female and small they could be the wires for the air temp and map sensors as they are an option
  22. just want to know whether a chipped turbo comp wheel is going to cause a major issue?? the chip is on 1 fin and is about 2mm x 1mm im thinking it may cause an inbalance.
