  1. What's every ones problem with the rb20??? they do just fine for a 2.0! . by far the cheapest option would be rb25de including loom and ecu ( 1/2 cut with or without the gearbox) remember , you can add all the det gear to it for reasonably cheap and the extra compression makes monster like torque. rb20e wiring will not suit any twin cam by the way
  2. Plenty of drifting next year in tas . You shooda kept the cst's though
  3. I won't be driving (will come out for a looksee) , a couple of bits i need are mia from my car , febuary isn't far away though

  12. Here's my take on advise for a first time drifter (disclaimer : this is my opinion from my own experiences , take it how you want) To start drifting you're going to need a car , remember your learning , it's going to get trashed . forget being fully hectic and jdm , your car doesn't have to come from japan to drift , there are plenty of local rwd cars to pick through (i'm actually building a 'missile' atm out of a el falcon , best bang for buck i could find on the market , a good sift through classifieds can find you one well under 1k and manual conversions if needed are easy to find for cheap and parts are still plentiful) , get onto bond roll cages and buy a bolt in roll cage (if you crash bad enough to not be able to put it in another car , it was money well spent) , get yourself a decent lsd or even a weldy , a nice comfy seat that holds you in place and make sure your h/brake works , search for some decent s/h springs/shocks add the obvious like tyres etc and get out there and give it a go
  13. That looks awesome! , just looking at those pics you've spent some time and $$ on it!

    Fs: '99 R34 Gtt

As the title states i'm selling my 99 r34 gtt , it's factory black 5spd turbo with 104???klm , custom trim (read: purple inserts in the seats and doors) , genuine altia(nismo?) bodykit , 19' wheels , bilstein suspension , xenon lights , cat back and aftermarket stereo . To describe the car , it pretty much drives like new , it's a very easy car to drive . I'm in no rush to sell but i am negotiable on price ($16,500) , the only reason i'm selling it is because i have a few cars and i don't really need this one The pics are about a month old , only changes are the plates (which are now C25HA for anyone who wants to do a rego check), comes with rear spoiler too
  16. +1
  17. Looks nice and tidy now mate , time for some rims and stance
  18. R33 rims really suit your r32 mate , good to see your cars multiply too , Any updates between the three??
  19. Small update for this thing: i now have a gtr front bar , bonnet and grill , all that's left to buy is a l/h front guard , i've also salvaged up a manual conversion kit outta spare bits and pieces , so as soon as my ceff is up and running i'm gunna start on getting this thing on the road Forgot to say , when i sold it last the guy put it back to auto for his missuz , reading back through the thread gave me a giggle , it's going to end up with rolled rear guards now i've finally seen the light (after looking through sarumatix thread again)
  20. VVV that's why Ok , my reasoning for picking the l2 is for the earlier spool , the car it's going in will be used for all different forms of motorsport , i'm not interested in the final number it shows on the dyno more so how it comes onto power and when . Not taking anything away from the H , just after a lengthy discussion with my tuner he/i/we thought the l2 would suit me better . The whole 20 setup is only temporary while i'm building the new motor for my car (rb** , i haven't fully decided between 25 or 30 yet , that's pretty much all i'm waiting on for the other motor to be ready) if the turbo fares well i might even put a 10cm housing on the back of it and use it on the other motor for a lil while

    Stolen!

    Any more updates?
  25. I'm assuming you're just starting out? and wanting a track only? , for value to $$ you can't really go past a r33 , they have a strong driveline and are cheap-ish for parts and there's an abundance of wrecked ones out there . i always go by the rule: if you can't walk up to your car and hit it with a 10p hammer than your best not trying to drift it , starting out it's not a matter of if your going to damage it , it's when! . next best from r33 arguably would be a series 1 s14 possibly not as reliable due to the gearbox strength mainly . try finding one with a decent drivers seat and a aftermarket diff , also the r33 steering rack is the worst out of all nissan for lock , best swapping it for a s14 rack as they bolt in very easy
