Bump for this thing , it's now gunna get all the required parts to make it straight and roadworthy , aaaaaaaaaaand a sunroof and I found a towbar on the back of it today LOL , daily spec here this ceff comes! . it was ALOT more that 5mm across in the strut tower too , closer to 50mm actually!

The old wheels make the car imo , if it were me i'd be keeping them on it looks heaps nicer all white! , kris's mesh wheels would set it off

your water pump would be new yes? what type was it? . i couldn't see the whole engine/gearbox flexing that far? it was kinda , looks pig atm std 33 rims , still half damaged rear guard pieces hanging out of inside it everywhere , i bought a r34 so it went on the back burner for a bit , once i finish the 34 i will get back to it (like with the laurel ) , i may have another one very soon aaaand a mate rang me today to tell me of one in tas wrecking! pilfer time!

could be a r31/vl gearbox . as for the hole position , i vaguely remember a friend of a friend of a friend of a mate telling me that they spaced the front crossmember/engine mount points (or something like that) slightly different in the auto (something about the bellhousing on the auto bla bla) . Disclaimer: don't take this information as gospel , i didn't personally discover this nor have any intrest at the time of what the guy was talking about so information is fairly sketchy

viscous diffs are shimmable , the shims put more pre load onto the viscous coupling meaning the 2 plate things inside the cartridge are closer together if that makes sense? Anyways , can anyone confirm 98-2000 manual diff ratio is 4.08?? , i'm guessing auto is 4.3?

that's right , best talking to an engineer before you start too , most of them want you to upgrade brakes too
