  1. that is close! , two problems there , one will be the heat from the stainless steel (or if it's ceramic coated this will not be an issue) , the other will be the engine twist on accel/decel and it hitting the floor of the car , could be fine , could be annoying!

  2. sad day :( . this hoon law thing angers me to no end . stupid bitch on there explains how she isn't a 'car person' , id like to see their statistics on road fatalities , im willing to bet inattention and drugs are much higher on the fatality register. (not that i condone asshole driving, their is a time and a place ) . to me , this is just un educated brain washed police bullying .

  3. yes i know that car , it's definitely de+t , still 4 stud last time i saw it , has definitely had a hard life by the people i saw that owned it . all of the body kit was sikaflexed on and painted over , the best part about the car was the new head lights . it may be better than it was when i last saw it though .

*shameless plug* i have a nice 32 sedan id sell around that money , nice tidy car :)

  4. try some of that tyre in a can stuff , i forget what it's called but it's used to pump blown tyres up instead of having a spare wheel , a friend of mine did this to his symmons and they are still fine today (3 or 4 years ago) and he goes through back tyres quite often... i got my club s lip from streeter , it was expensive to bring over but imo was worth it :P . As for the wiring , they tuck up fairly easily once you take the guard off , but make sure you use something decent to hold it up :)

  5. Yes I have stock of the billet 20G but only in a 10cm T3 rear. I can sale you the core for $700 if you want, which you can run that in your current 8cm housing.

18G, and 25G plus 8cm turbine housings are still work in progress at this stage.

Ok , so what are the advantages of billet wheels compared to the ones on the one i have now? (just talking myself into it really, just seeing if i can justify the extra $$) the car that the turbo will be going on will be used mainly for track work so it will get a hefty work out!

  6. Turbo choice is very critical on the little 20 , what sort of power are you chasing? , if you're not sure what power you want then do as much research as you can before spending any more hard earned! The forced induction forum is a good place to start , there's plenty of info in there about turbo and other bolt on bits that can save you thousands by learning from other peoples mistakes :) . Just saying ;)

(2 threads that would be a good start are the kando and hypergear threads , they are mostly for rb25 but a keen reader will find the stuff on rb20 )

  7. So had my rust bucket on the dyno the other night...

    Old setup here: http://www.skylinesa...ost__p__6010134

Added ID1000s, billet comp wheel, poncams and re did all the pipe work in 2.5" stainless(was a mix of 2.25/2.5 before)

Tried more boost but it didn't really do much, perhaps a restriction somewhere (runs 2.5" cooler piping, 3" exhaust and stock throttle body) AFM was at max also.

Forgot to grab an overplayed map but if you put them side by side it looks pretty similar apart from the extra 30kw up top thanks to the cams(boost was almost the same). Most noticeable difference is how ridiculously smooth the thing cruises around with the ID1000's over the High-flows!

I love how these thing feel like your entering warp speed over 6000rpm lol, wants to keep rising even at redline.

Not sure what to make of the billet wheel though, perhaps the cams lost a little down low and the wheel brought it back up?? I think Simon will have to give one a shot so we get a genuine back to back.

impressive result still , it knocks on the door of 200rwk at 3800rpm , why does it dip again for 100rpm?

  8. Poser I dont think my cef was a factory 25. Can i get some place too change what plugs that need changing or just get a 20 loom.

poser=me? Lol . Honestly , the stuffing around would easily out weigh the price of a cefiro loom . The sensors would be easier to get than the plugs for them . I'll explain a few things for you tomorrow when im less tired , too long of a weekend for a big long post!
