ok well you need wiring diagrams of each then to make sure all the wires are in correct places , being nissan they would be very similar? , if it isn't in the wiring then the only places left to look are the compressor itself or the a/c controls (which tie in with the wiring really) . 'sounds' (by the description) like the clutches are stuffed in the pulley though *you might get better replies in the maintainence forum?*

nah don't cut the bar unless you really have to. one of the more appealing things about your car is the fact it doesn't look molested like most with bars chopped to pieces etc

change back to the rb20 compressor if you can? sounds like wiring issues though? i'm assuming it was fine with the rb20 in?

+1 for tuffest ceff ever , you should swap me your meisters for my kf's . that pic in the thread nic posted of my old car (the return flow cooler) was of an apexi/hybrid which was fairly small , i have that exact bar ob the front of mine with a gtr cooler which doesn't go any lower than the pipe out of the old cooler. pic:

i'll still take the headlights even if they are stuffed , and i was talking about the indicator/fog light in the bar sorry , not interested in selling the bonnet before repairing? (i'm a panel beater/spray painter by trade so i preferr to work on my own stuff) , i was thinking of my missus car for the wheels so rash wouldn't be a problem lol , she'd only put more on them

perfect setup for the engine there imo ^^ , gtr intercooler is fine though . I personally have a dead set hate for king springs for personal reasons , but really you need to explain what you want to do with the car (i.e drift , drag , circuit or street .. or all of the above) before getting into suspension setup . if i were to go and buy new suspension for my self it may be totally different to what you need if you understand what i mean? , if you want detailed to the Nth on what i would do to one , and why , i will tell you , but it might not be what's good for you . what about wheels tyres and body? -

update : put the club s spoiler on , and the s2 rear tail lights ... and i got the window fitted , now i just gotta save up the coin to get the pfc tuned :S

what is the other side joint doing?? , i vaguely remember having to hold one side whilst i loosened the other (feel free to correct me if i'm wrong , it's been a while) -
for more lock: s14 lca's , steering rack spacers (uras or home made) , adjustable castor rods (you have already?) and urethane steering rack bushes p.s I love your car!

does it splutter and stall? or just feel like it's asthmatic? . a few things for you to change imo would be the water temp sensor to the ecu , then the air sensor thingy on the exhaust that i can't remember the name of , clean the afm out with co cleaner , check fuel pressure (actually, do that first ) , change fuel filter .

yeah , tas mobile mechanics , ask for martin croall (i'll get his number tomorrow if i can) . He's a top bloke , as long as he's not flat out he will help as best he can. theres a place that does the engine mounts etc , if i think of their name i'll post it up . i have researched it pretty well , being in tas i don't have the popo issues you guys would, it is a pretty easy conversion , bonnet clearance may be an issue but an xr8 swell would fix that, gearboxes from ls1/2 are shit for shifting and heavy and i suggest you research into ls1 about all the small problems they get with wear and tear (i.e rings , oil pump 'relief valve' wearing the body of the oil pump etc) i lol'd at that

theres a ls2 silvia in vic and 2 ls1 silvias being built here in tas , i've actually pondered the idea myself with how easy it is to get fair big horsepower out of them fairly easy , but imo it would cost too much to do it properly compared to just whacking a rb25 in there with a few mods to make enough power to keep anybody happy on the street and if done right keep the popo none the wiser

i put a rb25 box in a 32 with the navara speedo drive etc , it fitted perfect , and i actaully used the speedo cable out of my cefiro because the r32 one was better condish (put the better one in my car lol) , but the r32 one fitted in the speedo drive fine when i tested it .

nah , not really , they may bolt up but wouldnt fit headlight or guards
