  1. well generally you have to try from the chassis/front or rear subframe but it's kinda hard if your car is super low, to cheat you can measure from the top of the seal under the doors , thats about the most accurate you'll find without going under the car
  2. thats changed a lil since back then , isc coilovers 8kg/cm front 6kg/cm rear springs, dampening set 1 click back from hard at the front 12 clicks back from hard at the rear (would work well on a low grip track) , i got the ride height wrong its 100mmfront 106mm rear (or 100 , depends on my mood) 2deg -ve camber on the rear 2.5 still at the front which i'm going to change to 4deg for the next drift day. and i have a set of r33 lca to fit bad idea to get measurements from there, theyr'e never even especially if theyv'e been rolled/flared or fiberglass
  3. yeah easy as it isn't road rego'd yet :S , it was booked in to go through tas transport 3 days after i dented it. i'm a spraypainter/panel beaterby trade so the dent isn't really hard for me to fix , more to the point i was going re-shell and clean it right up at the same time (and put the 25 in and get it engineered), theres heaps of stuff i wanna do to it and re-shelling is pretty easy to do to a nissan. and i can tidy up that shell and slowly make it into a complete car again
  4. wassup all , i put a dent in my ceff at the last drift day i attended and i'm weighing up doing a reshell , i've got around 3k to spend . Prefferably i want a complied one with a sunroof , will look at anything as long as it can be freighted to melb docks (my uncle owns a freight company and will bring it to tas cheap )
  5. hey mate , nah you can never have too many 4d , i don't live in melb but close (tas) , i do travel over there a fair bit for work .... but this isn't my missus car anymore (because i don't have a missus ) progress has stopped on it for the minute because i dunno what to do with it (she wants it... and the house... and the kids ... pfft)
  6. if theyr'e the only colours to choose from i vote leave it standard colour, get chrome drifteks (do they make them chrome? ) . chrome on black looks tuff imo . but if any colour can be suggested i'd choose candy red like the origion display picture cars
  7. what do you use your car for? if it sees the track alot just get a dirty uras copy so it don't matter when you break it , if its for hard parking only go for the fk or the wonder/shadow or whatever it is
  8. yeah i checked your car out (very very nice btw) , it hasn't quite sold it for me though tbh , would have to see it in the flesh i reckon , i'm going to do all the guards etc before ordering wheels this time (i'm a spraypainter/panel beater by trade) i can cut and add metal in or just add fiberglass panel it's not a real big job for me . I also scored all std bars and am about to paint them up so i can rego it , i have a l/h std sideskirt and i'm cutting up a pair of 2 door skirts to make the rh side(can add pics and 'how to' if anyone is interested? ) also scored a set of gearclimb (kyb) shocks with apex'i springs to lower it somewhere closer to the ground, some cradle lock bushes and castor rods (i'm tempted to put r33 front lca's in too since i have one laying about) . still havent got the 'box in yet because i'm having trouble with the auto spigot , also decided to put my spare rb25 turbo on it for a laugh and shim the diff a lil oh and it's got std r32 non projector lights (n1 i s'pose you could say) and i'm on the hunt for some fully clear type indicators. i decided on the colour too it's purple of the latest ve and its called morpheous
  9. have you actually checked the cam gears to see if one(or both) hasn't slipped holding the valves open at the wrong time? (its late i cbf being technical)
  10. just spotted your post , nah , gtr cooler and it looks like it uses factory gtr mounts at the bottom , although the bar had been cut out by the owner of the cefiro it came off in japan, its a bit of a rough job

  17. the bar is the same but the body is slightly longer (under an inch) from the bar edge to the wheel arch (did that make sense? ) p.s i want your side skirts

  19. interested in posting the lhf door (bare), rhr light, r/h window switches and all rotors and callipers and rear hubs? (its for a mate , he might need the det loom too if your willing to seperate, he's converting a non turbo to turbo)
