Well , i finally got my track hack going after replacing the turbo , small issue , i took the old turbo off thinking there was a problem with it , i pulled it apart and found nothing wrong with it (apart from a small crack in the rear housing, and me breaking the rear wheel off while taking the rear housing off) , i put the new turbo on and it's still making the same sound! . Nfi where to look , all the gaskets are new etc so back to the drawing board... I think i may just have to register it and then change all the manifolds and piping (to after market etc)

  6. i bought another 4d 32 so it looks like i'm gunna keep this one for my ... ummm .... whatever excuse i think of in a minute , i bought a 25 box and front brakes and some new coilovers to put in a 2d one i was turning into a track hack , somehow it all keeps ending up on this thing .. pic:

  8. Well actually , first you should be asking if you have a blown head gasket , and if you have to ask that question , the answer will be: take it to a professional . But i suppose to save you a little bit of money , go into burson and ask for a ' tee kay head check kit' , it will have instructions in it of how to use it . If it does show that you have a blown head gasket then you will need to take it to someone capable of taking the head off and finding the problem .

  12. Ooh not a good sign , that car lined up very well when i had it . Atleast it has adjustable arms under it . Turbo choice for a 20 is fairly simple but most people stuff around with other things that don't need to be , best results from rb20 are with simple setups, i.e , a good exhaust manifold , cam gears , cooler , pump , injectors and a decent tuner . Most people try to put too big of a turbo on them and they just can't flow enough air to keep them on full boost , td05 16g would be too small for track , i would predict near stock response with similar power to a standard r33 turbo , maybe a little bit more , more suited to a ca18 really , td06 would be slightly laggy for street but days of fun on the track
  13. The 20g with the 8cm rear housing is what most people are putting on their lil 20 , i have one that isn't far away from being finished for tuning , i will post results once i have them

Well I've promised myself i wouldn't buy any more car parts until i sell some , im confused with what wheels i should put on it though , i have gold sparco rims off the 33 or the p1 i was going to put on blue 32 or , im tempted to put the sp1's on it , i have way too much shit for one person ...
  18. Did you try un bolting the cat? I had a friend with this same issue on a 25 not so long ago , he blew his std turbo and replaced it with another , but all the oil that went into the cat turned to rock , the car was very quiet compared to before though
  19. Ahh yep , it's definitely a complied shell . Yes i would like to swap front guards (get the missuz off my back about painting it lol) , the black ones on the yellow car are average too , the right one has a couple dings and the left one has a hole cut out for an indicator , my ph is 0419552441 if your interested in swapping

  21. Haha , few here , few there , no joke i have lost cars before lol (and found them again ) . That black shell was registered previously in tas so it doesn't need import papers , just a sales receipt and pit pass , now i think of it though , i vaguely remember the vin wasn't stamped on the strut tower , you would need to get that stamped , you can check the vin with service tas in memory by ringing them , it will start with 6u9000 then the factory vin , the ais station that originally passed it needs a smack on the fingers for not doing it

Small update , replaced turbo with another 25 turbo for the minute whilst i decide what im doing with the setup , im thinking of pinching the setup off my cefiro since it's not likely to see the track again . Put a new windscreen in it , all i need now is tyres and a bonnet for rego , then the mods will begin! I may have a half cage for it too pending . One thing i have noticed is that the rear wheels sit off to one side about 2cm , not sure what's going on there
