+1 ive cut and welded 2 different guards together before, you may need to go that way also

cheers for that info, mainly i go to baskerville which is mainly a 3rd gear track first turn is right at the top of third (140ish?+?) you hit the apex at around 115-120 and bounce the limi and scando for the next turn which is about 95-100 at the apex which is a down hill section s bend thingy coming out of that is a short straight which leads into another left hander that opens up on the exit to an up hill straight to munji as fast as you can , im worried that if i have a shorter 3rd i wont have the speed for a big enough entry in turn 1 which is vital in comps and the exit corner and straight you need just as much speed really :laugh:

OOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo, that looks nice as, i cant wait to see it all together, but ive got a couple questions if you dont mind me asking. First, why did you wreck the 32?, it seemed fixable , secondwhat type of paint is that?, third, is that an oven its being painted in?, if so its huuuuge and last of all i cant wait to see it finished!!!

r33 are 3.79 though, i might pull my diff out and suss what it is before i worry to much about ratio's , there are ups and downs of going either way atm so im a lil up in the air which i should buy (r32 box or r33) edit: im pretty sure the diff in my car is only a s13 type so at a guess the ratio would be 4.08:1?. and i thought 4.3 were auto gearsets?

well its gunna cost about 1k to rebuild so id look at the 25 box, i have cash waiting, the only reason i was gunna get the 20 box was because the gearing suits me better as i enter t1 of both tracks at the top of 3rd and that would be in a different spot if i had the 25 box due to the different ratio's. how much do you want for both the 32 boxes together?, i might make 2 blown ones a spare

so whats the gear ratio's like compared to the rb20 box?, im considering one of these atm but ive heard that theyre shorter in the gears, the tracks i take my car on pretty much use the top of 3rd so im not keen on having any shorter gearing

had a drift prac at symmons today...exit 3rd gear , i knew it was gunna go though, when i serviced it when i first got it the oil was metallic enough to paint a car . its getting a retune in a week and a half dr drift if i can find another gearbox in time

ok im about to go searching for rims, what i can gather around +5 to -5 offset will fit the front with lipped guards(is that right?) and the rear wants around the +25?. any suggestions on a decent offset to suit a lightly lipped ceff?
