  3. sounds to me like a faulty globe/whatchamacallit thngy is buggered (i cant remember the name, its too late at night) the noise was definately from the fuel return thingy?

  5. nope, 33 s1 has alloy yep, 33 s2 has nylon yep , 34 definately either alloy or steel. i put a s2 turbo on my old 32 (hence why i have a 32 turbo lying around), i bought a 34 turbo before i bought the 33 turbo to put on the 32 but was shafted as the 34 turbo was missing the exh wheel and a friend of mine pulled their s1 turbo off their 33 to get it high flowed or whatever so we had all three together at the one time. all three comp wheels are different
  6. yeah mate, im still trying to find the exh housing as the 34 turbs was at a mates house and he got bored yah the only real diff between 33 (s2) and 34 turbo is one has a plastic comp wheel the other a steel so its normal to be ball bearing(r32 turb), thanks for that
  7. ive got a rb20 turbo thats ball bearing, its definately a rb20 turbo as i also have an r34 turbo sitting beside it. im curious as to wtf its off though as i always thought the rb20 turbo was bush type . can anyone help?

  9. my 33 hits +boost by 2200rpm-ish the 32 i am talking about hit positive boost around 2500rpm-ish, they were both stock except 3in cat back, once modified the rb25 shits all over the 20 with out a doubt . dont forget that the 25 runs 7psi stock and the 32 runs 10psi.... but the 33 turbo flows better

    hmm, i have one but its more than 13k.. actually i just fully serviced it . i will make a suggestion though, if your looking for one for 13k in tassie you will be looking for one for 10k in melb as it will cost you 3k+(the plus is because if its 10k it will most likely need some work) to get it over here and rego'd ... just a thought wheras if you look around the 15-17k mark you find good ones already here registered and dont need money spending on them (for repairs) .
  12. yeah pretty much, between the 2 cars i had/ have the 32 would be quicker and more lively upto 100klm but then the 33 would nose in front after that oh and mad082: thats on paper, its a very different story when you drive them both... try getting their gear ratio's and final drive and add that into the equation , and the lil rb has a higher redline
