i live in the same area as you mate, mine suffers something severe from heatsoak , a pfc wont fix it, get a cai of some sort, asap, oh and go buy/borrow one of those laser heat detector thingys and measure your exh temp and cooler pipes either side of the cooler, and another thing you may want to consider is a bonnet vent of some type, just for fun sake space your bonnet up an inch or two at the rear drive it like that for a week and let us know the verdict

does it slam into gear as it hits 13psi? , a guess would be that your actuator possibly is a little weak too

theres not much anyone can tell you about the car your purchasing but i can tell you that r33 s2 are a very nice car to drive and keeping sevices between 3000-5000klm will ensure it lives happily with only faults you may have will be coilpacks and clutch. i would advise you to get the timing belt done on your first service and being such a prick of a job you might aswell do the water pump. enjoy

lol, r33s are family cars too.... just built better bahahahaha, the buick pig motor was planned late vl because they had to scrap the rb30 due to cost, no rb25 was EVER going to touch a commo. imo vn after they changed the INLET MANIFOLD and tune went better than the s1 vn and felt smoother(very slightly) as for turbocharging a commo, go to a commo forum. lol or buy a supercharged one.

r32/33 rails bolt straight in, door trims you'll find at a local importer, same for front bar, sideskirts are usually rare because theyre always broken so they get chucked, radio surround youll find in the same place as the door trims and i might have a guard in the next couple weeks, ill keep you posted

i had a screamer pipe on a stocko turbo on a 20 in one of my old cars, it actually hindered performance but sounded tuff as (ie like it had an external gate with screamer pipe). it was a hks item . screamer pipes make your car sound 10 times as loud at full boost, i swear i came every time it hit full boost

ok the rb20 is a lil lacking in low/midrange torque, i love the revvyness of the 20 but i want a better power spread over the rev range, so ive read and came upto these two engines to choose from. what i want to know is how much of an improvement is there in stroking the wee rb and cost as opposed to the rb25 . if i buy a 25 ill be converting all the gear i have on my 20 now (ie ill only need the bare motor). cheers
