Problem solved! it was exactly as i had been told..... the AFM had shit itself, so bought another S2 afm and bingo! Shes all better now! thanks for all your input guys!

yep all the piping is secure and its running standard boost (never been boosted) i've purchased a S2 airflow meter... as ive been told that is the most probable cause! I will let you know if it fixes the problem. thanks
