Hi guys, I'm in desperate need of a new turbo back 3" xforce exhaust for my r34 4 door skyline. I want to buy on the Gold Coast, but i'm not sure where from?? I've already tried one place in ashmore, and after waiting for over a month they had to refund my money as they could not deliver the parts I had ordered through them(!) Does anyone know where i can purchase such an item on the Gold Coast or even brisbane, where the chances are they arleady have the items in stock, or if they don't...it's not gonna take forever to get here??? Any help would be muchly appreciated!

Thanks for your input guys. After inspecting the car and having another talk about it, I have decided 3" On a side note... I know this has been covered before and i don't want to start up another thread, but what oil do you guys use in your 34's?
-
not much in terms of mods... just exhaust... air filter... induction etc not going to be raising the boost or anything like that. Just want it as it is, but with a bit more punch. mate drives an s13

Hey guys, I'm looking at getting a turbo back exhaust for my r34 gtt. I want to know what the best size is for this type of job? I was told 2.5" would be more than enough all the way through? My mate drives a 400+ hp turbo'd car and that is what he uses. He is a professional drifer. I always thought 3" was the go for a turbo car? can anyone shed some light on this? thanks

Terrible Fuel Economy, All Usual Suspects Checked
r_palac replied to stolen_s15's topic in General Maintenance
I get about 400km's on my r34 before the fuel light comes on. Then when i fill up to the top i only seem to be puttin in around 50litres. I believe 34's have a 65litre tank? therefore when my fuel lights turns on i should still have around 15litres left. Most driving is done in the city and i always seem to give it a bit here and there I changed my 02 sensor recently. Will be doing an oil change soon. How much to replace fuel filter? -
Mate... if you're into clubbing just tell the cabi to take you to surfers on the weekend and im sure you will find something you like. During the days however if you havent been before it's worth checking out at least one or two theme parks.. id say wet n wild and dream world. Apart from that you have the beautiful burleigh beach...summer sun...girls...waves... is there anything better? If you wanna go shopping check out either pacific fair or one of the other major shopping malls. If you get really bored head up to Brisbane for a night or two check out the night life there and anything else they have to offer. For a tourist there's always something to do down here so im sure you will be busy the whole time. Anyways, enjoy the Gold Coast

Your power steering stuff is located next to the engine and the fluid is located somewhere under ur bonnet. Shouldnt be too hard to find as there arnt that many things that require fluid other than engine, transmission, radiator, brakes etc Check it and make sure its not empty? if it is buy some more power steering fluid and see if the problem persists.

Where abouts exactly do you find these readings??! I own a 34 gtt

Congrats to Marty & Karen on their special day! Pics came out very well

Yer my intention was never to have a sub and 6x9's at the same time. I was going to put the 6x9's in cos like i said i already have them and i thought it would be a simple swap for the old speakers. I didnt want to go down the sub route at all... however, now i will just probably sell my 6x9s and buy some 6" for the back as they will fit in with no hassels, will apparently give better sound and they look better
-
I don't have a fmic yet, but it's def on the cards. As for the pod and box/shield, can a few of you post some pics up of the different set up's you have regarding your arrangements in that part of the engine bay?
-
Hey thanks for all the responses thus far. I guess i was going for the 6x9's as i already have them and they are quite decent quality. I also thought they would fit with no major problems or hassels. I might just pick up a set of 6" splits for the back as apparently they will fit right in? I'll hold out for a few months untill i find a good amp and possibly new head unit. so does anyone recommend any GOOD 6"(split) speakers that aren't overly expensive?
-
Where abouts would i find these pod filter boxes?
-
Not so much fit inside the standard air box but rather use half as a shield. I've seen this done before on many 34's.
-
Does anyone on the forum know how to fit an 02 sensor + also fitting a pod filter using the existing air box as a shield? Anyone want to make a bit of extra cash?

Very nice cars n15mO and sunnycoast

okay probably the dumbest question ever asked on here but how do i reset the odometer on the r34 dash? The first screen gives you overall km's travelled which of course you can not reset. The second screen gives you "trip A" and if the button is pressed again we get "trip B"....my question is how do you reset trip a/b?
