Hey guys I am selling my car unfortunately due to the fact that I am looking to purchase my first home. The car has just been serviced see below for details. I am the first and only Australian owner. The car was complianced and purchased by me more or less straight after. Inspection welcome ( I have the original RAA report) The car has recently (in the last 3 weeks) had a full serivce where all the fluids, front and rear brake pads, spark plugs and the clutch were replaced. New clutch is a Extreme Heavy duty, sparkies are irridium and fluids used were motul and pads are ferrodo formulas. I have put new rear tyres on and the fronts are less than 3 months old, services have been done every 5000k without fail. The car is in absolute mint condition A1 inside and out. I was defected after an apparant "report I was speeding" ON MY DRIVEWAY!!! It goes without saying that you can be defected anywhere anytime. What I have done since to avoid being defected again is: 1- Try to avoid driving at night where possible (If its just a cop car on the road and a skyline they WILL pull you over, I got pulled pulled over in the city 3 times in 1 night for no reason) 2- Don't drive in the city at night defect stations on rundle street and hindley street very common 3- If driving to the bay go down Sir Donald Bradmon drive or another route they will be setting up defect stations on greenhill road and anzac highway this summer Best mechanism for avoiding a defect is tro do whatever you can at all costs to avoid them. They don't have anything better to do and instad of busting real criminals they go for easy revenue, low paper work jobs like defecting imports. You know its a real joke when you have to worry about where and when to drive your import, fu#$en pathetic really. My 2 cents

Hi guys how is everyone? It has been a while since I have been on here but seeing as I just got my license back and got back from a 12 day holiday in the Queensland Islands after finishing Uni (awsome place). Theres a few little things I wanna do to the car. I upgraded my turbo a while back and in the process the guys couldn't fit the standard heat shield over the new turbo. I am just wondering if anyone knows where I can get the standard one remoulded or where I could get a new one from. I have been told ASE but does anyone know of any others. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Hey Guys I put in a new battery today. Just wanna say thanks to everyone for the advice. No fuses blew, my indicators, hazards, wipers air-con, cd player, APEXI AVCR and alarm are all in tact and everything is sweet. Im gonna get my dad to take it for a drive seeing as I have no license.....

Hi Guys my car has been off the road for approximately 4 months now due to no licence. The battery has sh#t itself because I didn't disconnect it and it was drained by my alarm. In an attempt to get it started to get the fluids circulating I charged the battery with a charger and the next day tried again to no sucess. I have also tried jump starting it a couple of times and have done so once or twice before the car was off the road. I have accepted that when I get it back on the road im just gonna change all my fluids, oil and get a new battery while im there. My question is have I done any damage to my car by jump starting?.. it ie will my ecu map be affected. Its a 96 S 2 33 Also is there anything I should expect seeing as its been off the road for so long?... Yeah I had this happen to me. Then 2 cop cars came to my house and defected me. Makes me wanna (but I wont) file a fake report against a cop and see what happens, I mean hey they seem to believe anyone who calls them especially if the person they are reporting is male young and drives a fast car, how about the f@#ken burden of proof.......

Hi guys I know this topic has been done to death and I have tried a comprehensive search but failed to find what I was after. What Im needing to know to is: 1 Can the standard front rotors on a 33 GTST S2 be put on the rear(In the event that I get DBA 4000 Slotted Front Rotors) 2 Is Motul dot 6 appropiate with standard brake lines or is it too acidic or whatever the term is and how many bottles are needed for a complete flush 3 What pads to people use on Front and Rear and why (Cost isn't an issue coz I wanna be able to stop and I don't go on the track but I do alot of hills driving) 4 How often should brake fluid be flushed My car has 200rwkw I am in SA so If anyone can tell me where they get their pads and how much they paid that would be awsome Thanks

Hi Guys just a quick question, I have been screwed at work and they have reduced me to one petty 6 hour shift a week , Im at uni full-time and do not have another source of income so potentialy (hopefully not )I might have to sell my pride and joy and get a 250cc or something duno yet.....The near future will determine this and it will be an absolute last resort I love my car too much its off the road atm due to no license. I puchased my car last year in june for $21000 Details are as follows: White 96 series 2 R33 A1 Inside and out KKR 430 Turbo, KKR Dump pipe 33 GTR Fuel Pump Blitz Cooler X-Force full turbo back exhaust and mufler 17 inch Buddy Club Gold P1 rims Apexi AVCR Nismo Gear Nob Replaced Standard springs and shock absorbers (Had dumped springs when I got it and defected for it) Tsonics alarm and immobilisor with in-built turbo timer that was not found at regency as intended 12 '' Strike sub, Boss Amp 6 inch split pioneer front and rear speakers, Boss 4 channel Amp Tyres- 235 front, 255 rears Fronts brand new Rear 80% Apexi front strut brace Dyno at tillbroks at 197 rwks without using the APEXI AVCR (too lean without power fc) at 11.5 psi (30 plus degree day), with power fc should easily pull 225 rwkw safely all day everyday Machined front rotors and new front pads, rear are fine I have just replaced the drivers seat, and the side holder in the drivers side under the handle so there is absolutelynothing wrong with interior in fact it looks brand new. RAA Insepction would be welcomed but I do still have my RAA report from last year Once again this is only a query at this stage If I do sell I am thinking of putting in trader for $21500-22000 ONO but how much would a fellow skyline enthusiast expect to pay???? I also may as well mention that I am the first and only Australian Owner of the car and that I have the standard exhaust, speakers, boost solenoid and everything else I will chuck in to beat the boys in blue sorry about lengthy post.... All parts are from a Nissan Skyline R33 1997 Series 2 Drivers seat with rails and everything ready to bolt into your car ( perfect condition ) - $120 I purchased the seat and got it 3-4 days later perfect condition as stated, too easy, no problems and recommend to trade with. Thanx Buddy!

Me and a mate went to the autobarn sale on friday night and between the start of rundle street and the end of hindly street (about 945pm) we counted about 20 odd cops, there was a defect station near hungry jacks and as there wasnt too much traffic so any car going down would have got done, my mate was lucky he was driving on the opposite side of the defect station or he would have been done for sure, dont give them the pleasure of defecting your car, keep outta the city as others have said friday and saturday nights unless of course the idea of going to regency excites you, I havent driven my car in the city on friday or satrurday nights in over a year and I will continue to do so, I mean if you can be defected in your driveway as I was, city driving on a sat and friday night is a no go!

I got defected in my driveway after apparantly being reoprted for the 'way I was driving" It is bullshit cops do what they want and get away for it, Id like to know where the hell is the burdon of proof in these instances?........whats to stop sumone who doesn't like you doing this?.....Fact is cops hate skylines and they will do whatever they can to get them off the raod, legally or by just harrassing skyline owners Im sick of it and im sure others are to.

Hi as I mentioned a couple of weeks ago I had to go to court for a dangerous driving 94 in a 50 zone. I was on my P's at the time but moved on to my full license prior to receiving the summonz for court (im 22). I plead guilty and copped 6 months loss of license BUT i have to back on my p's on that new bulls#!t P1 P2 system because I was on my P's "at the time of the offence" . Just be aware all that 40kms over the limit IS dangerous driving, even if there is no one else on the road or no pedestrians its still dangerous driving because its a danger to yourself at those speeds. Be aware also that also if you get caught doin 40kms over the limit you will loose your license for a manditory minimum period of 12 months, yes 12 not 6 it has been changed..... Just thought everyone deserves a heads up as for me I got my bmx fixed and am gettin used to public transport again not to mention the unwanted attention I can expect when i get my license back that all p platers who own skylines receive by the cops....

As far as a lawyer goes they cant get me off dangerous driving and my court date is wed 14th I only had 2 weeks notice so dont have bulk cash saved up for one...Hoefully its no more than 6 months a year i couldnt handle with the money ill save I think ill get my power fc ,injectors, AFM and with my other mods should get my 250rwkw!!! Hi I was caught speeding June last year at 5/530pm by a speed camera doing 94 in a 50 zone, I was on my p's at the time had recently purchased the car and basically know how immature however un-intentional my actions were. Anyways I had to go to the cop shop last year to go through paperwork and I received my summonz for court a few days ago 11 months later.... Was just wondering if anyone here in Adelaide has been charged with dangerous driving and what punishment they received. ...I was told I could loose my license for a year, 6 months for breach of p's condition (I was on my p's at the time) and 6 months for dangerous driving (40kms or more over the limit) and a fine between 5 and $800....this is a first offence btw.....Any feedback would be awsome
