    How did you get on repairing the damage? Did you work out what cause it to burn out? Hope its nothing to do with Dan's LED's, ive got a set ready to install soon.

    What sort of power are you getting out of your beast? I had my powerfc installed after running my sliding performance high flow on the stock ECU for about a year. It's now putting out 190rwkw on stock boost (7psi), but i cant boost any more at the moment, cause my clutch is slipping! Time for a new clutch, and then aiming for 230-240kw on slides awesome turbo!

    USB Web cams are getting better resolution these days, you could have a laptop with a USB port extender, and have 4 or 6 USB web cams plugged in. Upside = a fairly cheap solution, and a laptop is easy to remove and strap in, does not have to be powered.

    Why does the car need to be running, when aligning the rear wheels with the Hicas??? Any ideas?

    frx & cleutin, do you use a heat torch to make it softer to squeze into all the ridges? or let it sit in the sun at all? Or not really necessary?

    Thanks for the quick reply... so there is a "wear" layer which creates the noise? Must be time for new pads up front.

    Hey guys, My brakes are starting to squeal - are brake pads designed to squeal when they get worn out? Like is there a wear layer that makes noise, so you know they need replacing? Thanks

    Hi Gary, Why would my car suspension "rattle" over bumps, small or large. It did it with my old Tein HA's, and kept doing it with my Bilstein setup. Is it normal for skylines with lowered suspension to experience this? Or is it worn bushes, etc? Thanks mate

    Ouch! As you probably know, getting insurance is as simple as a 20 minute phone call, i bet he's regreting putting that call off til Monday!

    I'll be getting a Exedy H/Duty Button clutch installed. My choice because it is rated to 250rwKw, and much more durable than the Exedy organic ones.

    The paintless dent repair guys can work wonders - even on keyed paint work. Have a look at their website, and give them a call - they'll come out and give you a free quote, and tell you if its beyond their scope. But using touch up paint, and cutting and polishing, key marks can be repaired without a respray. One website : http://www.chipsaway.com.au/ Click on the Before and After button on the left.

    800 is too smooth for spraying with paint, shouldnt be smoother than 400 grit - this allows some texture for the paint to stick to. If you sand to 800 or 1200 then spray paint, eventually you'll get a small stone chip and a large flake of paint will drop off. I've just finished spraying one of my cars, and had pleanty of advice from my paint supplier!

    I dont know much about suspension, but im guessing radius rod bushes and upper control arm bushes are different from: Front Castor Kit, Camber Kit Front, Sub Frame Alignment and Stabaliser Bar sets you sell... Are these tricky to replace? Am i best to take it somewhere and get them to supply and install new bushes?

    Same clutch I'm getting - how much you paying? How hard is it to install a clutch? I installed a turbo, but not sure if a clutch is outside of my scope.

    Are you doing a dyno run before and after "de-catting" your exhaust? I'd be interested to see results...
