Isn't the ECU in the passenger side kick panel? So any pins which need to be shorted would be over there, not under the drivers side?!!! Disconnect battery is the best way to go.

Are the same adjustable cam gears used on the exhaust side and inlet side? ie, are they swapable, or different and unique?

So are the exhaust and inlet gears exactly the SAME or DIFFERENT?... Can any one pls confirm?...

Is the inlet cam gear *exactly* the same as the exhaust cam gear? If it is, does anyone want to buy a gear? I've put my name down for a pair of gears, but after doing more researching and buying a powerfc which will control timing on the inlet side, i think i only need to adjust the exhaust side to get some extra K W 's. Is this right???

I dont think you can pull dynamat off and re-use it. It would delaminate, and lose its adhesion. Its got to adhere to the door REALLY well for maximum vibration damping, hence why you clean the door thoroughly prior to installation, and why you squeeze all the bubbles out.

There is a thread on here,... and it uses series 1 garnish's. I think you can then mask the letters and spray it to match your body colour, so it looks like a series 2.

Forums are a great place to get recommendations from hundreds of other people... if someone suggests a site or business that others have had bad experiences with, you'll get feedback quickly. The same goes if someone recommends a website which others have also had a good experience with! He's not asking for feedback from one person he doesn't know... he wants some advice from the SAU family! And you don't have to be driving a $200 datsun to want to get good value, and not be ripped off by an over-priced retailer!

They are not meant to be changed on the car, I believe you are meant to take the strut out and disassemble, but i'm going to have a go with some spring clamps on the car - compress spring, push c-clip out with screwdriver, and move into the next grove.

Sounds like he wants to replace the airbox, I dont think 12psi of boost would cause the problem - your car is probably 15 years old? I imagine the parts may have perished over that amount of time... Would you get another air-box, or a pod filter?

Well i dont have any inner guards to get ripped off.... the last owner had all 4 guards rolled, and launched the plastic inner guards! 334mm ride height should be ok though? Thats only going another 8mm lower than my current setup, and still a fair way off MBS206's 318mm. I'd like to hear from other people who have SydneyKid's setup... what ride height have they chosen?

I thought only Series 1 garnishes light up, because they are "clearish", where as Series 2 are painted to the body-colour?

Hey All... I've had SydneyKid's Bilstein suspension on my 33 for a while now, and overall fairly happy with it. Handling is good, firm, but not too bad over bumps. I set the circlip one level lower than standard, so my ride height is 350mm - 8mm = 342mm. This has been a good ride height, ok over speed humps, etc. I'm about to get some new wheels, and think they'd look better if my car was a little bit lower, how would ride *comfort* be affected if i lowered the circlips down to 334mm or 326mm. I dont want a ride thats too harsh, thats why i threw my old Tein HA's in the bin!

How much was your Apexi one? I believe datalogits are about $450?.... which seems a lot for a small serial hardware device + some software.

My PowerFC for my R33 GTS-T just arrived! Will be installing it this weekend. How essential is a 'datalogit' to assist with fine tuning? I also want to run a Carputer and interface my powerfc to that, whats the best way to do that? Datalogit, or another form of interface hardware?
