Who sells & installs autowatch car alarms in SA? (To save me going thru the yellowpages + ringing everyone!) I'd like to find out more info about them, their website (www.autowatch.com.au) doesnt look up to date - can't find model 456rli - unless i've written the model down wrong! I've read the forum "viper vs mongoose alarms", and will steer clear of viper - now need to decide between autowatch and mongoose - wld like to find one with a built in T/timer, if something exists.

I wonder what the resolution of "Web Cams" are these days? You could have a laptop with a USB port extender, and have 4 or 6 USB web cams plugged in. They are relatively inexpensive, i'd pop my head into a computer shop and ask, or have a look on the logitech website.

What makes a good dial, compared with a "junk" one? (Sorry if i'm askin too many Q's... will place my order shortly!)

Those creases should disappear when the covers wear in?! I read in the thread somewhere, about leaving them in the sun before installing them, which softens then and gets rid of the crease? I hope they wear in! I'm about to put in my order!

kezza, do the R33 GTS-T white dials include a little dial for the stock boost gauge? I read thru the thread for your last group buy, and it sounds like they don't? but ive seen other dials available, that do come with the little dial background (see pic)

I'm keen for a set of covers for my 33 GTS-T, 2 door. Probably Black with Blue Inserts, blue double-stiching +Nissan Logos +Material for door trims No handbrake or gear boots or centre console cover Not sure on the wrinkle look yet... How much would this cost? I couldn't see any sort of breakdown, maybe i had a blokes look?

My old calais did the same thing, but the side mirrors were fine - they didn't vibrate. So keep an eye out of those instead! If your centre mirror tips, maybe you can pull it apart, and put something sticky in the ball joint so it is a bit stiffer - it will still shake, but wont tip sideways!

kezza, I'm fairly keen for white dials + brushed bezels with the chrome rings + Blue LED kit. So am i best to get white dials with BLUE numbers, or CLEAR numbers, so the LED's shine thru better?

I am trying to find out what globes are used in R32, R33, R34 for the benefit of all people who wish to buy LED globes. Sean'O : if you are keen to pull apart your dash T5 is 5mm, T10 is 10mm DIAMETER.

Can someone use the NissanFAST to determine what globes are used for : R32 dashes (presume GTS,GTR,etc all the same?) R33 dashes R34 dashes. They are either 'T5' or 'T10' globes... anyone got the answer? Thanks muchly!

kezza, any idea why those LED kits are so pricey? Found T5 LED dash globes for $6 each. <Ebay product> If there is a reason why the kit is better than these LED's, thats cool, just curious to know why!

How much are the LED's for an R33 GTS-T? Is it better to get white dials with clear numbers, and use Blue LED's? That way you can easily change the LED's and have a different colour backlight - but if you have blue numbers, changing the LED's wont make any difference.

Yeah i'm not a fan of R33 GTS-T side indicators, let me know if you can do something with GTR lenses!

So you dont want it to come up? There is a Green/Red wire which plugs into the back of the deck which triggers the antenna to rise. You might need to cut this wire and put a bit of electrical tape on both ends.

Tonkins Adelaide were helpful! They sent a fax off to request the spare part from Eclipse, and said it'd probably be at no-charge... i'm still waiting to hear back from them tho, have made a couple of calls but i believe they are waiting for a response from Eclipse. So fingers crossed, they'll have something for me in a week... Will let you know how i go!

I've replaced the turbo on my 33 GTS-T. The old one was making a lot of noise. When i turn the axle, it makes a clicking noise, and does not turn freely. There is no shaft play up and down, only a small amount back and fourth along the axle. Not sure if this is any good for a high-flow rebuild? Any Offers?

Ooops, it does sit about -4 or -5 on idle, so that is ok? Will have to take it for another drive and look a bit more closely at the gauge under full throttle, maybe it goes above 0.

I hope this question isn't too silly... I've got a 33 GTS-T which has the little gauge on the tacho from -7 to +7 x100mmHg. I believe this is mm of Mercury, or Torr's, where 1 Torr = 19e-3 psi. So 100 Torrs = 1.9 psi. So each 100mmHg on my gauge will be 1.9psi, meaning the gauge of -7 to +7 is actually -13.3 psi to +13.3 psi. Is this right? Secondly,... the needle on my gauge sits at -7 at idle, and goes to 0 at max boost. Is this normal on a 33? Thanks for any enlightening information you can share with me!

Bump! Does anyone have an opinion on Viper alarms? I think they are sold at Tonkin's stores in adelaide.
