  1. What about this one: From Unique AutoSports here: http://www.uniqueautosports.com.au/priceli...er33styling.htm
  2. I dont think changing the locks will help. Most thefts i hear about, are caused by smashing a window. What about installing a GSM/GPS Pager - can be wired so if your alarm is triggered, you get an SMS. I'd hide an internal screamer in the cabin, so if someone breaks in they will get deafened trying to steal any belongings and wont be able to spend long in the cabin. I had someone try to break into my Calais twice, both times the shock sensor triggered and set the alarm off, and this detered them enough to walk away with minor damage to the lock/handle. I'd set the shock sensor on your new alarm to be as sensitive as practically possible.

    Brake Pads

I've installed Ferodo Formula TS2000's on the front, really unhappy with them. Have BAD noise issues which i havent been able to resolve. Can't comment on the performance of them, as i need to change my brake fluid first.

    Power Fc

When you remove the stock ECU, after a period of time without power doesnt it loose its tables? And when you re-install it, you need to let it idle for a period of time, turn rear demistor on, let it idle, turn air con on, let it idle - to give it a base map. Would following this procedure help the stock ECU run a bit better?
  5. Sounds like the same CF bonnet i'm looking for, something more on the plain side.
  6. I think its actually more like pump pedal about 3-4 times to build up pressure, and hold pressure on the pedal. second person opens bleed nipple, when the pedal just about hits the floor, #2 person yells "floor". #1 person tightens nipple and yells "pump", and repeat the process x number of times.
  7. Looks like some serious straining in that third pic!
  8. Bump! Can someone pretty please measure the height of their trust bar, i know they sit low, i just want to measure it on my car and see how low! Ta
  9. I've never heard of this before, i dont think thats true at all. What car do you know came out with different driver+passenger side springs?
  10. I wouldnt try painting a steering wheel - you've always got your hands rubbing over it, hot+sweaty in summer, it wont last. you can get a steering wheel reupholstered, but it might be cheaper just to get a new one.
  11. Dont know the cost, but it does look good, its hard to believe how the paint can make these awesome effects (woodgrain, etc). I saw some pieces get done on American Chopper, they have some sort of bath of fluid, and place a thin layer of paint like gladwrap onto the bath, it dissolves, then you dip your part into the bath. http://www.aquadip.com.au/
  12. Is this your Series 1, on here: http://www.invisioncaraudio.com/
  13. Your first post on SAU. Are you trawling for business ideas?
  14. Any word on if this 33 was recovered?
  15. These are my pineapples, before they were fitted. Not sure why they are called pineapples - i know they're yellow, but look more like donuts. This is a Whiteline KCA349 SubFrame Alignment kit: And they can be installed differently, to give different handling characteristics:
  16. Is it possible to compress the spring and remove+reinstall circlip without pulling the whole shocker out?
  17. Something is draining current, either pull fuses with your multimeter connected so you know whats sinking the current, or take it to an autoelectrican?
  18. I dont know much about 34's, did they come out with different colour interiors? If they do, you could try to get a black-carpet-mould from a wreckers.
  19. Of course you need to take seats out! Probably even the rear bum section. Possibly even some of the centre console, door trims, etc. There is one moulded piece of carpet in your car, which goes from your front foot wells, all through the car, up to under the rear seat. There is NO way to remove and replace that without taking seats out!
  20. You're right, but I think he's just had a new battery put in. So Battery should not be the problem if its only 1 month old.
  21. You're after a motor-trimmers, im not from Syd so dont know of any - but try yellowpages.com.au, business type=motor trimmers. These are the guys i know of in Adelaide: http://www.willshire.com.au/
  22. Theres lots of people in your situation, who dont have a lot of bucks to spend - go shopping on ebay, look for sales, buy second hand, or only buy what you can afford - and install it yourself to save more $$$'s.
  23. I'd say the ticking is because your battery is flat, some relays dont have enough voltage to close. Sounds like you have got a problem somewhere if your new battery is going flat, first thing to check would be alternator charging voltage. Next thing to check would be standby current, using a multimeter which would confirm if something is draining it.
  24. This is what i'd be worried about, i wouldnt like to be out there with too many other cars in the same session, thats why i was curious if they capped it at a max of say 15 cars or so.
  25. Any idea on maximum number of cars per session?
