  1. Is it free entry to get in and watch? couldnt find out on mallala.com
  2. Yeah rotors are very easy to replace yourself...
  3. Do a search, a lot of imported products are sold on ebay - you wont have any warranty, and some installers will not install them.
  4. I'm very keen, cost is not an issue. The only thing which would deter me would be if there were too many other cars there - being a beginner, i wouldnt attend if the track was going to be packed.
  5. Whats this about Adam? This is the second thread you've started on this topic. Type the name in google for some more info which might be what you're looking for. http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...263991&st=0 http://209.85.141.104/search?q=cache:go_pZ...;cd=1&gl=au
  6. Did you buy it from ebay?
  7. Is this meant to be favourite photo, or photosssssssss? One-or-two photo's would work better, than seeing 5 or 6 which are pretty similar. This is my favourite as of Friday, when i got my new wheels...
  8. I've been told the trust bar sits quite low, and need to be more careful not to scrape-out. Does anyone have a measurement of the height of the bar, so i can see how much lower it sits than my V-Spec one?
  9. VivaGarage.com.au appear to sell a 'Type-T' front bar, which they say fits a Series 2.
  10. You've got a series 2? Trust bars are only series 1 as far as i've learnt. jetspeed.com.au sell a series 1 trust bar.
  11. I'd be making up a cover to hide the existing fuse box, maybe use anodised/polished checker-plate.
  12. I hope those pictures make anyone reading this with a Skyline/Stag without an immobiliser + comprehensive insurance have a think about things. My 33 was stolen, and the only reason i got it back not burnt out, is because my clutch let go, and they were forced to leave it on the side of the road. I hope your insurance covers ya mate...
  13. It seems that maybe there is no such thing as a Series 2 Trust Bar... So i change my question : "Exactly what modification is required to make a S1 Trust bar fit on a S2" I'm keen to have a crack at my own modifying/fibreglassing... can anyone mark up on a photo what area needs to be cut/built up?
  14. Digging up an old thread... (At least it shows i'm searching!) but where's the best place to find a Trust Front Bar for a Series 2?
  15. I'm about to buy one of those GPS GSM Modules, from the GroupBuy on this forum. If the alarm goes off, it sends an sms to your mobile. You can then sms back, and get the GPS co-ordinates of your car. So even if it is on a truck, you'll be able to find it. The module is small enough to hide anywhere, and even if the power is disconnected, it has a backup battery.
  16. Hope you didnt tell them you didnt have an alarm. If they ask, i'd be vauge,... "its a new car, i'm pretty sure it had an immobiliser". If the car doesnt get recovered, at least your insurance wont be void.
  17. Chris, Do you have a autowatch installers manual you an email to me? (As mentioned in PM, My installer - George@Adelaide Pro Sound - is not around anymore)
  18. Isnt that why you get a wheel alignment done - To adjust your camber/castor/toe etc to get the desired setup?
  19. When you say uneven, is that measuring from the centre of the wheel to the top of the wheel arch? I know mine were slightly different left-to-right, but that was because my guards were rolled and were uneven.
  20. Yeah so the pedders kit is cheaper, and easier to adjust. So why would people pay extra for the whiteline one?!
  21. I bought the Whiteline rear-camber kit KCA347. Apparently the camber can only be adjusted off the car. ie, you remove the link, adjust, re-install and check camber, and repeat the process until you've got the desired camber. My mechanic ended up consulting with me, and installed a Pedders kit which you can adjust the camber without removing the link. This kit cost only $99, compared with the $145 retail for the whiteline stuff. I'm wondering what the difference is? I've done a search and found mention of "adjustable camber arms", i wonder if these are similar to the Pedder ones.
  22. I thought mine was 90 seconds, maybe it is 60... anyway its long enough!
  23. If you cant find Prepsol, its also called "Wax and Grease Remover", supercheap sell it in aerosol cans and in a big 4L bottle too.
