  1. I sorted out what was going on, The problem been was a faulty Actuator terminal, which is located right near the abs unit, there is a black box that sits right next to it which as the Actuator Relay and the terminal.
  2. ok I have used the trusty search button and one has seemed to have the same problem as me, now I have look through the manual and it has given me some idea of possibles on what it could be, However I still would like to know is why when I replace the fuse that the indicators on the left hand side (all of them) stay on??? Got me puzzled to why that would be... If any one knows someone or have had the same problem it would be very great full as the work shop manual dose not seem to have that in there....

My anti lock dash light came on today, i found the fuse was blown and replaced it and now the left hand side indicators all stay on, I also checked the unit in the boot and the led flashed 8 times. What could be the problem I have disconnected the fuse because the indicator won't go off. Any help would be great, Oh by the way the car is a R32 GTR.

  5. Well with mine there is a small hole under the water pump, (built in safety item) when the seal goes on the water pump water will leak out of the hole under pressure. I had been using a little bit of water, We did a rad comp test, changed hose clamps and still could not find the leak, Then one morning when I started my car I noticed a bit of coolant coming from under the car, and when temp built up it would stop leaking, I then decided to check the water pump. Anyway that’s on my RB26.
  6. Thanks for that, I value your input as it helps a lot. My coils arrived today and I slapped them in, seems that the problem with the miss has gone, I have been driving all day and night and not one problem

One of my coils has a faulty plug that seams to cause a miss on the odd occasions, So I though I might as well change the lot as they are quite old and want to eliminate any further problems. 2. That a great suggestion about the rb20/25 afm as I will look into that and get some $$, How much of a restriction do you get by leaving the screen on? 3. I will get some injectors, fuel pump and some cams later on down the track. What is your setup/power if you don't mine me asking? How long would the standard bottom end last if you were make around 480 to 500rwhp, so to say I was going to nail it 50% percent of your driving? Thanks for the advice much appreciated

  9. Hey guy, I thought I would share this with you ppl I bought a R32 GTR about 4 months ago, stock as a rock. And not long after having it turbos let go on me, also corrosion on all plugs because the previous owner liked to wash his engine bay and some minor things as well. After some mucking around with trying to get the turbos re-built under warranty, Because the guy who I bought the car from had them re-built not long ago, but when they were re-built they only used 270 trust bearings not 360’s so they did not last long at all, only 500kms. Long story short I ended up having to get new turbos because the mob up in Sydney did not want a bar of it....... So after all that crap, I ended up buying some, Garret GT 2560R’s. Also I have fitted a 3 inch exhaust from dump pipes and a k&n panel filter. Just got it dyno today and she is getting 240rwkw with only 10 pound of boost. I am wrapped because my car has been off the road for 3 months and now I get it back tomorrow. Has many ppl hear used the GT 2560R’s? Next new coils, PFC and z32 air flow meters. See how that goes. Ill post up the dyno sheet when I get access to a scanner. Has many ppl here used the GT 2560R’s as I would like to know there results…? Hear is the dyno sheet, Before and after i changed turbos.

  11. What nissan Dealer did you get it from? It's always handy to have a spare set just in case.
  12. Are you willing to sell them? What colour are they. I know when i rang up nissan they wanted the colour code of my car first before they could tell me if they had any.
  13. As far as i know you can still get the rear tail light though they have to be ordered from nissan. I would assume the same for the numberplate garnish. Those real tail lights are not cheap too.

  18. I sort of expected to have a minor problem or two when i got my car, Car Being 14 years old.
  19. What number cylinder died on you? When i change my coils i am going to also change my turbos. One of my turbos is leaking oil, (second one) which are still under wantry so iam going to get both checked and if needed get both re-built. Which iam going to sell them because i am going to get a pair of N1's and change ECU while iam at it.. If any one is interested in buying them PM me...
  20. Found the problem- I have a faulty plug on one of the coils... Looks like i will be changing the coils soon...
  21. Ok i have rang around and the best price so far is $830.00. Hmmmm not sure about that i think i should be able to get them cheaper? And it looks like the BNCR33 and BNR32 are all the same, part number--SF-DIS-001
  22. I need to replace my coil packs for my GTR.I'm looking at buying spitfires. My Question is, Is there a difference between spitfire coil packs in any of the RB26DETT engines from R32- R34. Also what would be a reasonable price to pay for them?

  25. I was driving home about 10 minutes ago and I gave it some stick, (in the legal speed limit of course) and all of a sudden my car started to sound almost like a WRX. Even when it's idling and I tap the pedal. And it had lost a lot of power There was no smoke at all and temps where all normal. My car is standard apart from a zort and panel filter, and 10 PSI boost. It's a 1991 model with 140KMs on the clock. The motor it self is only about 33,000 KMS old. Making 221Killowatts at the rear wheels. Also the mechanic noticed oil was leaking from the back of the second turbo which was due to be repaired with in the week. I’m not that experienced with GTR's so this is a bit of a worry to me as I have not long owned the car. Any help would be great.
