  1. Also trying to illustrate that there is a rich history of Nissans being raced here in Australia and that they are worth a bit of coin because less than 100 were sold to the public. (R32 GTR) Just like the fords and Holden during the earlier years, they too fetch a fair bit of coin, because they were legends in Australian Group A motorsport and only so many were produced and sold to the public That’s my thoughts anyway. Just a thought if you want to run in the historic class of Targa Tasmania, say 10 years from now, will the Jap imports qualify?

  3. Did you leave the hicas ecu in the boot still connected, if not you should as i have heard this will cause the "dead " spot edit. my bad i just realized that you bought the tomei Hicas lock kit which come with a bypass which you connect with the hicas ecu.
  4. Hey mate i'm 3 sensors. The first one is the out side temp sensor ( located near the aircon fan ) The second is inside temp sensor located in the center console near the cig lighter. The third is the sunload sensor which is located in the dash passenger side top near the windscreen. How much for these sensors. Oh and can you confirm if your aircon was working
  5. Check your spark plugs too, as you have been starting and stopping the car short distances ( not allowing the car to even get warm) you may have fouled them.
  6. I just finished reading all of this and i thought i'll add something. About two and half years ago my brother asked me to service his N14 SSS. I had dropped the oil and removed his oil filter, he came walking pass and i asked my bro if he could move the car back for me so i can get the oil pan out from under the car. He not realizing that the car had no oil in it and thinking ahh ok i'll start the car and move it back for me. He started the car and i yelled out to him switch the car off quickly. Car probley was running for about 5 or more secs. before he switched it off. Me thinking oh shit he has just killed his car. Well i can tell you that this car is still going great after all these years. It might not of been a gtr however give the fact the car ran without oil for only a really short bit of time was either pure luck or maybe did not do any damage as the engine was still cold.
  7. ????? Not everyone can fix cars themselves, hence why he went somewhere to get the car fixed. If i used that line to most of my clients "learn to fix your computer yourself" ( I.T Manager) i would never have any work. Just some food for thought

  10. Happy to recommend Centerline The guys two months ago did my car, complete re-build of all bushes, ball joints suspension ect..... Very Very happy with my results.
  11. They guys had the same problem with mine, they soaked the nuts in wd40 for a while , then tap the nut a bit, repeat the process untill the suckers started to come loose.

  19. I have the same problem with my intake is always sitting around 50 degrees. I'm thinking it must be my cooler. It has the standard end tanks and a custom core. (was like this when i bought the car) But my knock readings are not high at all What do you think Nismoid

  21. Just an update Finished my car. All bushes, ball joints, subframe bushes ,coilovers locked the rear end ect.. ect ... done All i can say is F%&$#ing WOW. I have to get to a track now
